left work in gloucester tonight @ 5.30pm & saw two vc10's flying in close formation. never seen them fly together as they were - rather than fly side by side which i have seen regularly they were flying almost one of top of the other - very bizarre formation. any one else see it or have any idea as to why they were flying in such an odd formation? they were going into brize norton i think.

just got back from fairford. stayed for three days. just wathed them all leave. this was the last plane to leave.
