I think I just slid carefully the floss out. The rulers were only there to suspend the stapler until the Jello set, so I put those aside.

question, when she put the jello into the fridge the rulers were there and when she took it out they were gone. Before you flip the jello and put it in hot water do you cut off the floss and rulers from the hardened jello?

This is my dreams come true. Everybody was calling me crazy cause since I was a little boy I always wanted to eat Jello with stapler inside.lol. Ok!Ok! I lied. I wanted a prosthesis leg but It was hard to find an oven and baking pan for it. What I did is I went to a bakery and told about my desire. Guess what happened... They loved it! Now I have a big company at Roswell, New Mexico selling jello with prosthesis leg. I don't have much customers from earth yet. Most of them from another planet:)

Just wanted to mention, if you do it the other way (letting some Jello set, putting the stapler in, and adding more hot Jello), the new Jello will probably melt the old Jello and also, there will be a "line" between the two layers and it won't look as cool. Thanks for the feedback!

its sooo easy! you put about a inch of jello in a bowl, put the stapler on that when its firm, cover it up with more molten jello, let that firm up and its done! it's not that hard!
