  • I once launched out of a steep fun box and kicked my board at a group of kids who were surrounding Jerry Hsu autographs. It was at an A Team demo, and MJ told me to do it. I was like 13 and more than happy to be the ass hole. Also, this part made me realize what it means to love skateboarding.

  • thank you for putting this up!! I miss these days, fuck growing up

  • Ahhh, the memories. Awesome song, This was one of my favorite scenes to watch before heading out for a good day of skating.

  • @skatercuban why are you not dead yet? leave me alone.

  • @shandelear because unlike you i can skate so there's a point to me living.

  • @skatercuban and have you ever come to think some people dont read the captions in the beginning of a video i was just waiting for the skating to come in dumb bitch

  • This Video is timeless!!!! Sooooooooooo SICK when it dropped and is still tor notch!! Everyones parts are EPIC,Brian Anderson,Mike Carroll,Chany.............Transworld vids were amazing during this stretch the 1 one before this Feedback I think it was and then Sight unseen with the last parts from 2 straight up legends,John Cardiel,Henry Sanchez and Heath Kirtchart's part was fucking ART!! This was when the only thing that mattered in my life was SKATING!!! Brings back amazing memories!

  • i love that video

  • Dr. Smoothness

  • I don't mean to put words in marc johnson's mouth, but after hearing and understanding his philosophy put forth in this video, i think that he promotes free information and expression and that he knows that posting such inspiring material should not be considered as illegal. why would one want to withhold a helping hand- or in this case, foot? and i'm guessing that transworld skateboarding is in the boat with him. i mean, they skate all over other people's property for a living...

  • good ol a-team

  • That is the most buttery frontside noseslide ever. So fuckin' smooth.

    Steez of the 00's

  • marc johnson... doing inward heelflip krooks since 2000

  • @shawn270 Thats not an inward heelflip. Its a Varial Heelflip.

  • mj has one of the best styles in skateboard history, i could watch him bullshit around a parking lot and get hyped as fuck!!!

  • word on getting a pair of those MJ's, those and the original es Koston's were fucking legend

  • i would stab someone in the throat with a rusty spoon for a pair of those es marc johnsons....ok not really but i want them that badly anyway =P

  • This part makes me so happy. Not even gonna lie

  • best pro model show ever.

  • the best back 5-0 i have ever seen 3:37

  • So Clean even though cleanlines didnt matter in the 90s or early 2000s now a days you can do the most gnarly trick ever but it wont matter if you dont land it clean

  • i always loved the line at 1:28 .... its so buttery its crazy !

  • I still own this on VHS. I mail ordered it in 2003 from Transworld for 20 bucks and it took four months to arrive, but totally worth it.

  • man front noseslides are so steezey, im going to start doing more of them haha

  • Everything about this is perfect, from the skating, to the speech at the beginning, and the band all make it one great piece of artistic history. The full cab blew my fuckin mind. His kind of skating makes me feel more comfortable about my skating. I'd rather see this than a montage full of handrails.

  • Thanks for posting this!

  • he does the sickest lookin varial heels in and out of his grinds its fuckin awesome

  • THE PLAN IS WORKERS REVOLUTION!

  • I remember seeing this video like 6 years ago, this is what made me start skating. Sooo sick!! still love mj's skating to this day

  • guy fuckin rips, but is he a skinhead or just cant grow hair? cant tell man

  • @vxskatebro haha well im pretty sure he balded out,

  • @vxskatebro Back in 1996-1997 when he was riding for Maple and later A-Team he had some hair. It looked nappy as fuck and going bald, so he made short work of it and shaved it all off.

  • really cool

  • 2:49 gets me hyped

  • Am I the only skater who wears baggy jeans anymore? :(

  • @moshrock "just cause you said you don't own it, doesn't make it legal to post it up."

Yeah, man I get that. Go preach to the 1,000s of others that post video clips all over Youtube. Some of which are making money off of the material. I post these clips so people can watch something they've never seen. Something from an old video that more than likely you can't get anymore.

To all of the people that watch these videos for the enjoyment, if this gets shutdown...you will know why.

  • @Don1970 you mean millions?

  • @moshrock Mane whine hard and leave us uploaders alone. Just stay spectatin'. Violatin'.

Classic Transworld days !! Fucking loved this part !! Cheers !!

  • @moshrock your username is moshrock...rofl

  • @moshrock IT'S THE YOUTUBE GESTAPO OVER HERE, AW FUCK

  • @ATMversion7 Right wtf this is an awsome part by my favorite skater Moshrock you can go fuck your self

  • @moshrock yeah but since he states that it is not for money or personal gain, fair use is tipped in his favor. so fuck yourself

  • @moshrock lol what are you bitching about though.

  • at 2:42 ... WTF ... AWESOME TRICK

  • His is still great 11 years later. And not as a classic (though technically it is). As a current part. What a talent.

  • Hands down one of the best video parts ever put together in the history of puting video parts together ever ever in the field of putting video parts together.

  • 2:41 = something you can only dream of being able to nail

  • 3 people like enjoi better

  • no mames conmadre este skate retro

me encanta esta rola extraño patinar :´)

  • he is so sick

  • this video is so fun to watch because the skating is so clean

  • ive watched this 40,000 times

  • I must have watched Modus Operandi over 100 times when I was a teenager. All I can remember is this fuckin' part.

All the guys on the tape were doing some amazing shit, especially Mike Caroll, but Marc Johnson is just so fuckin' cool.

    I'm gonna shave my head.

  • @qualix7 hahahaha

  • @qualix7 my friend shaved his head for the same reason back in the day

  • skating perfection, everything is so clean

  • its like mullen only not gay

  • i wish i was born back then and a kid around 2002 or something cuz now days skate videos stink

  • No one has a better fs noseslide down a handrail than MJ.

  • i always notice MJS parts are always epic

  • I still have this VHS. This video and this segment gets me so hyped.

  • ten years ago- wow. this was the first skate vid i ever saw. fuck ya skateboarding. i still remember all this.

  • This is one of the best videoparts ever.

  • Oh shit i think i still have the VHS hahahahaha nice sesh!!!

  • Ollie over the railing into the bank! That made my jaw fall off!

  • This was the first skate video I ever bought, back in 2000 when it first came out. Ten years later, it's still my favorite. By the way, not to say that Brian Anderson's part wasn't amazing or anything, but does anyone else feel like this part should've been the ender instead?

  • 2:41 narlyyy

  • they should call him ups because he always delivers.

  • 1:49 some crazzy shit

  • intro was hilarious lol

  • skatboarding has evoled so quickly

  • i saw this guy skate in cornwall england at mount hawk awesome skater but he was a moody prick

  • such an inspirational part

  • Not hating at all, but y was nollie heel nosegrind the marble bench ender?

  • it is always rodney mullen vs daewon song

    you forgot marc johnson!!!

  • R.I.P Skateboarding. I'm gonna miss parts like this. Before it was all about flashy tricks, good cameras, and the newest gear or what sponsor you were on, you had parts like this. Pure skateboarding, no care for labels, just pure escape from reality with some good friends and your board.

  • @Korpliw It ain't dead, you've just been watching the wrong stuff. Hunt around your local for some raw videos, or if they don't exist I think Beware of Sasquatch is an excellent video produced on such a scale that it was, it kept the rawness of skateboarding.

  • 4:08 best front nose ever.

  • One of the best parts ever! Thank you for posting this!

  • favorite part of all time..... m.j. pwns

  • 3:45

  • dang marc johnson so good..this part was better than his fully flared part!!

  • That is hands down the best edited video part. Ty Evans is a wizard. You combine the skating (he is the textbook "pro-skateboarder") w/ the music (perfect song by BTS) and you get some real honest to god magic. That frontside noseslide ender is cinematography at its finest. His style..holy shit..I don't wanna kiss too much ass, but holy shit...... so smooth.

  • this may be better than fully flared.

  • he is one all time favorite skaterrrsssss i like the way he thinks about skateboarding he's from sakteboarding eliteee props to this video

  • the line that starts with the fakie ollie up the curb is the sickness

  • stilos

    marc johnson shreds

  • whered u get this clip from? it looks clean

  • yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah marc rules...go exiled skateboards!

  • dude skateboarding videos now cant even touch what old transworld vids had to offer in this era!!!

  • my fav transworld ever!!!!!!!!

  • original founder of 'enjoi' with matt eversol..then marc left for chocolate...'oh well' both teams are sick.

  • co to za obrzydliwa łysa kurwa ?!

  • ive never seen anyone ever do a varial heelflip crooks and marc does it at 3:56 shits sofa king krazy!!!!! ahhh he Boggles my mind!!!

  • @exit3sk in fully flared biebel does a pretty sick varial heel bs nosegrind check it out its pretty sick. this vid is sick bs nosegrind nollie heel out is sick

  • @dve76 this was 7 years before Fully Flared tho!

  • @dve76 biebels was switch.

  • han er mega fedt=D

  • my favorite skater, hands down. guy oozes style

  • marc johnson.....you the man

  • Still my favourite part after all these years. The music is perfect, the intro, the humour, everything is perfectly timed, Johnson was doing shit that was so outside of the box at the time. Just check the manual combos.

    "I can't believe it. It's possible."

  • Marc Johnson is one of my favorite skateboarders of ALL TIME!! He's so smooth

  • one of the best parts ive seen

  • this was deffinitally not worth dropping what i was doin to come & watch =/

  • haha, marc johnson looks funny with baggy cargos

  • everything he said was so true. seems like such a chill dude

  • @asiancaucasian43 As much as I love him, his skating and his influence on mine, he sounds like a whiner from the stuff I've heard over the years. Bitching about the stupidest shit-for-reasons-to-leave-Enjoi amongst other things that just seem like an ego problem.

  • this video was the fuckin shit back in the day still is MARC JOHNSONS THE MAN!

  • Comment removed

  • what? the varial heel crooks?

  • none of that happened and 3:60 is not a time

  • LAWL

  • ok my mistake

  • buddy we call that shove it heel ! look it again XD

  • dumbass

  • 10 years old still some of the hardest tricks today

  • Mo may know, but Marc Johnson taught him.

  • I wish he could go back to baggy pants, this is his most stylish run to date IMO.

  • his last trick koston was doing back in mouse

  • marc is still the best

  • i quit skating in 94. kick flips and handrails. now i see midgets doing that shit on mtv.

  • double flip in a run only MJ could pull that off

  • i do em

  • im not religious or anything but, GOD DAMN

  • Marc Johnson still looks exactually the same now as he did then lol. Fucking amazing skater!

  • can someone post the intro speech of the video, before the music, I do not speak english very well and I don't understand it veriwell either, thanks

  • damn! this vid's goon even tho it's 10 years old =S

  • Easily one of the best skate vids ever.

  • damn Marcs outlook on skating is like so...

    MJ-esque.

    HE's too dope

  • bs ngrinds and those mannys omgg

  • IMHO, this video and photosynthesis were the two best skate videos ever made. i remember when we saw both, we watched them constantly from beginning to end, every day before we went skating. they were the best days.

  • @chcskater610 If your saying this is one of the best skate vids ever Im sad I never owned it, I think this came out right after I stopped watchin skate vids. I agree though Photosynthesis was the first skate video I ever saw, and bought. I watched it multiple times a day! PJ Ladd's wonderful horrible life is my other favorite video. Ive seen both so many times, they are classics. Those vids are timeless, they are fucking perfect. Photo, especially with Mr. Dibbs tracks.Yeah those were the days

  • @GreatMindzDrinkAlike

I give all credit to my brother, he showed me everything.

  • ORGASMIC !!!!!! O literally creamed my self

  • soundtrack of this video pls? it's fantastic!!!

  • built to spill -- listen to the "keep it like a secret" album this song is on there.

  • intro - Rabbit in The Moon - FLooRi.D.A. (LunaSol's Sub-Aqua remix)

    montage - BT - Madskillz-Mic Chekka

Marc Johnson - Built To Spill - The Plan

Chany Jeanguenin - Marcus B - Superior Spaceman

16 mm - Bowery Electric - Shook Ones

Mike Carroll - Kurupt - Trylogy

stress montage - Spiritualized - Ladies and Gentleman We Are Floating in Space

Brian Anderson - Chad Muska - Master B

    credits - Atiba - Ah Yeah 6

  • always made me wonder why he got the soty so late in his career. his skating was way ahead of its time in this part

  • @ejj127productions

cuz of his fully flared part.

    that part really turned heads.

  • @ejj127productions because marc was fucking robbed by danny fucking cocksucking way in 04 thats why

  • @ejj127productions it was its true

  • @ejj127productions yeeaa thats so true! but u gota think, there were alot of other crazy skaters too like cardiel, reynolds, etc

  • @ejj127productions ... hes a skater ...

  • epic!!!!!

  • awesome style

  • Wow the best of Marc JohnSon so well done

  • Mark Johnson's best part is from Lakai's Fully Flared video. He's pushed the bar even higher with that part.

  • damn i saw this video a long ass time ago, didn't remember this part being so bad ass

  • model of the shoes please at 3:25

  • i think those were his model shoes when he was on emerica.the ones with the m on em

  • the dopest shoes i have ever had so sik !!!

  • Discontinied Marc Johnsons when he rode for Emerica.

  • He catches everything so high and all of his tricks are clean.

  • haha marc johnson is always in some kind of costume at the biggining of every part

  • One of the things that i love about skating is that after doing it for ten years now, i can still find ways to make a new line or different variation to a trick or spot that i've skated for years. I remember that after about 2 years of skating I learned Inward heels but after an ankle injury months later I had lost the trick. A couple months ago I was playing skate and a kid did one but i hadn't done one for many years and now I'm trying to learn 'em again: Skating never gets old.

  • best skater alive!!!!!!!!! legend

  • they no longer make skate videos like they used to...THIS PART IS SO FUCKING GOOD!

  • totally!

  • i was listening to big dipper by built to spill and i watched this not knowing the song was by b t s. epic tricks.

  • Marc Johnson is the shit and so is built to spill.

  • i didnt know you skated

  • WORD.

    such a classic
