This is also very similar to Qi Gong and a class I took privately from a GrandMaster of Qi Gong. Many of the moves to clear channels and bring balance and health.
From what I know (almost nothing) the postures are for cleaning the channels, helping the flow of lung by them and of course to maintain the articulations more flexible.
And personaly I don't think it's a good idea to try this practices without the proper visualzation and proper guidance of how to do them :)
Search for a tibetan center where you live and ask the "local lama" or the more advanced students for guidance.

This is not tibetan yoga, this is one of the classical chinees qi gong complex. It's lie.
