Just finished watching the rest of the video. I think that he's maybe wearing the guitar too low, so he's struggling to palm mute the strings. Most of the movement needs to come from the wrist, and it's pretty much all downpicked. Good stuff though, and the right age to start playing.
The good thing is that he is playing it right. Some people cheat and substitute the F note with an E on the pre-verse riff because it's easier. You'll be able to speed that up and use palm muting as stamina increases. I know I used to struggle big time with MoP!
dude have your parents get you a good amp and a distortion pedal and that'll sound damn good, better than me

dude its ok! but you must learn move your right hand up and down...not just down..if u handle it u can play much faster and maybe cleaner
