  • Demasiado talento

  • Well Andre is part Native American anyway... really don't see the issue here.

  • Thats my husband right there amen!

  • Love the video, thanks for posting it.

  • This is really stupid!!!

  • wsup dre!!!

  • gotta' like Jack Black :D

  • For cryin' out loud - must everything be an "issue' with someone??????

  • hahahahha... this man... is amazing.

  • I'm part native and not in the least offended. Did anyone offended bother to listen to the intro and take it to heart? No matter what happens, how dilute our blood gets our hearts remember who we are. That is the message I took from the intro. The rest is costume glam and showmanship instead of being bothered how about hoping that maybe just maybe this sparked an interest in our culture and history for someone who might never have been touched if it weren't for this display.

  • lol @ all the butthurt natives, they are wearing costumes, not your ancestors sacred clothes, so chill out

  • yeah i suppose the teepee is of african descent......i understand the african americans have native descent, but how in the hell can anyone say this is not offensive, this is just complete and utter ignorance

  • @sd21mvp Maybe I just don't understand the american overdeveloped sensibility to the racial issue, but how is this exactly racist. Is it because they're wearing unaccurate indian costumes? I just don't get it how this is offensive. I'm tired of seeing foreigners think that in Spain we wear mexican hats and everything is a desert, but I don't consider that racism, only ignorance.

  • Shut The Fuck Up Jack Black.

  • What a disgusting display of IGNORANCE (& RACISM) in action ! They will reap their karma, probably why we haven't heard from them (this decade).

  • Lend me some sugar I am your neighbor!! one of the greats lines in music

  • @sd21mvp Some African tribes wear what he and his performers were wearing. Also some descendants of African American slaves also have native american ancestors.

  • insult your people as you say. and as for you natives who say you dont care, take a fucken history lesson on what your people suffered through and then ask yourselves if its offensive. theres the difference between a city native and a country native, the country one still has respect for his ancestors, you dont see anyone dumping on the backs of dr martin luther king or medgar evers are those who fought opression yet natives are suppose to remain quite when shit like this happens....

  • this has to be one of the biggest slaps in the face of native americans ive ever seen. im native, and how can you natives who are chiming in, say that this is not offensive. When have you seen our people where green feathers on the heads, and please tell me you cant see the reference the hey ya, hey ya, hey ya, are you serious. black people would go out of there fucken minds if any other race would do something like this, andre says hes part native, well if that were the case how could you

  • Don't care what anyone say this was still the best performance in a long time

  • 1:00 skip the bullshit

  • i love andre but his singing is horrible..

  • fuck everybody who disliked this. this was EXTREMELY entertaining and awesome.

  • This costumes were offensive as hell.

  • e da hora mann

  • @BlackNinja004 Which is exactly why I find it offensive. It doesn't matter if he's part Native, using those costumes and that set and those themes the way he did simply reinforces the ignorant stereotype, and in some ways throws a blatant disregard for traditions and customs into your face. To me it makes the struggle that Natives have had to go through have less meaning, and it's insulting. I'm sorry, but it's just wrong to make light of an issue like this.

  • @darkmuse03 quit getting offended over shit and im white too so quit being a bleeding heart liberal prick

  • The internet is turning some people into SOCIOPATHS..like say something nice or state your opinion and thats it..this is virtual..the real world is where our energy is needed..not arguing while your govt fucks you...lets get together..we find the smallest shit to seperate about..

  • OMG; that leading trumpet player, was my band teacher AHAHA

  • no comprendo!

  • im native and i do not care its all about the song

  • Andre has Native blood. Would be no different then coming out lookin like an african tribe. I am native and am not offened by this because i see no disrespect it in it...maybe im wrong but.....

  • Stop overreacting people, it's a theme for a show, not a serious piece on native culture. If it were a documentary saying Native Americans dressed like this and lived in teepees, then yeah, I can see where you would take serious issue with it, but it's just a show, it's not like Andre Benjamin hates Natives.

  • his stage presence is out of this world.

  • outkast is the best hip-hop duo of all time yet most people will remember them for Andre's goofy pop song

  • Where's Big Boi during this performance? Is he on the turntables?

  • @paulcalebcanyon This is part of the Love Below, Big Boi's got Speakerboxx. ROFL This is all Andre.

  • @paulcalebcanyon big boi isn't part of this song

  • @bazerrocks because it makes you shake it like a polaroid picture

  • im native... not offensive... but shoulda got some REAL natives in there.... instead of the fuzzy band.

  • The cultural appropriation on this huge of a scale will never cease to amaze me. I honestly still can't even believe that NOBODY thought this would be offensive...

  • he was always so energetic and amazing...i miss the old days :(

  • Well, this was quite the fucking thing. I feel... Happy :)

  • Andre looks like he ready to get in the ring and wrestling as Jimmy Superfly Snuka's son LOL

  • super offensive to native americans, just saying.

  • @mariahthemennis9 how is it offensive he's part native american?

  • @14heartgirl then he's not respecting his heritage. He is disrespecting the customs of Native Americans and projecting this stereotype of the Native Americans as being barbaric. It's the stereotype that puts Native Americans in this difficult place. They can't get jobs, as easily as other people because society views them as inferior. There are still Native Americans in reservations living as if it were the 70s, sometimes with no electricity. Their religion isn't even recognized by the UNO.

  • @mariahthemennis9 well, everyone one has different opinions. You may see it in a disrespectful way,but everyone else may see this in a different way. I only asked to know why you commented that, good opinion, but I do not agree. He is half native american, if he wants to do his culture like this then let him again he is part native american he knows better than we do.

  • @mariahthemennis9 You said it! The first thing I thought when I saw this was "you ignorant, racist bastard!" My husband is part Native (though I forget which tribe at the moment), and this disgusts me. You just knwo that the world would be up in arms if some white artist came out with back up dancers dressed in slave rags to the tune of Swing Low Sweet Chariot in his intro, but this is perfectly acceptable!? I don't think so! Bloody bastards.

  • @darkmuse03 wow ur husband is part native not u. dont be going all out just because u got a a husband PART native...he probably doesnt give a shit even if he did its not like he experience oppression like his ancestors....its like a white person could say nigger or beaner just because s/he is married to them, no u are allowed to say shit once u have experience thier struggle.....i in behalf have experince it......and still is..........u fucken bias bitch

  • @angerami40100989 I'm sorry you're so upset, but you don't have to be oppressed or experience what they've gone through to know that it's wrong, and shouldn't be taken lightly. I feel very offended at the way this video was made. I have a very deep respect for all Native cultures, not just American but all over the world, and it's our responsibility to ensure that oppression never happens again. My heart goes out to you, because it seems like you have a lot of pain you're dealing with.

  • @mariahthemennis9 u probably white and fucken stupid....u probably never beeen oppressed you shouldn't get pitiful ive been oppressed and i know the struggle u shouldnt put ur opinion just because u got all emotionally touched by a text book..again u stupid dumb ass white bitch

  • @mariahthemennis9 OutKast’s 2004 Grammy Awards performance were inspired by the Nuwaubian belief about the Native Americans being "Moors" in origin.

  • EPIC

  • luv the dancin babes..they got it goin on

  • i love how u can tell he is totally over that song

  • anyone else thinks outcast and ceelo green need to get together.

  • @tatonka7214 "Slum Beautiful" off Stankonia, check it out

  • how did one short video turn into a political debate come on now just chill this is all in fun

  • I;d been cool if Beyonce and Lucy Lui was there.

  • I can't get enough of this

  • you can tell the crowd is muted.....for all those with issues

  • The DJ kinda ruins it

  • If I were there live, watching that show, I could die a happy man!

  • That was the shit!!!

  • i love itttt

  • amo esto !

  • @huniverso whats that mean?

  • @sparks199 i♥it

  • Jack black and Andre. Wow. all there missing in John Legend And kanye west to be the best concert ever!

  • @EvansHomeVideos and michael jackson

  • can't tell him apart from the backup dancers...

  • He looks full African-American....doesn't look Native American.... (Mixed blood heritage, has met persons who are not Indian in appearance or culture, who claim to be full-blooded Indians. Those with no visible, spiritual, cultural or otherwise connection to Native America yet give lip service to being Indian are among those who make embarrassing comments such as, “My ancestor was an Indian Princess/king/chief.)....sample Malachi York..he said he was Native American Indian, but wasn't.

  • Who are the twenty-nine MOTHERFUCKERS who put a red thumb?!

  • Now THAT was a performance to remember!!!

  • Oh man, this song just always makes me happy :)

  • Does anyone know who the marching band is and where it is from.????

  • I was wondering how he was going to play all 8 people...

  • this crowd sucks back in 1980 the crowd would of been going crazy and dancing

  • they probly mute the crowd to let the people hear the song

  • Not great in person

  • Nobody like 3000....I had the opportunity to meet him and I have never been one to be a groupie but I must say that I was a little groupie-ish. LOL

  • Those girls are soooo hoooot :-)

  • darn its only half as good if no screaming girls

  • you need screaming girls to make this song good

  • why does the whole song feel dead :/

  • @Goligy08 the mix sucks ballz

  • You just know andre banged every single one of those dancers after the show lol wot a legend

  • So damn funky. Love the horns too. They sounded huge.

  • I love the song and the video clip, but this is just embarrassing......

  • looool it would be so funny if all the audience said shhhhhh!

  • Shite

The announcer should have ended with.. Ladies and gentlemen, more useless sound engineering and pathetic dance arrangements featuring unconnected brass instruments..

  • @BWFSabian f u. andre is a classic or do u paffer A.D.D sounding lil wayne or downsindrom drake? oh hey lets listen to 2 seconds of fam soulja boy u FAGGOT!

  • Shite

  • This reminds me of what George Clinton would with Parliament, especially during his Mothership Connection tour. Awesome stuff!!! With his hair like that, he kinda looks like the Star Child character too.

  • Shake it shhh... Shake it shhh... Shake it shhh... Shake it shhh...

  • Is this a joke? US 'music' scene really is weird.

  • You can see Janelle Monae is influenced by him, <3 them both

  • cool but i think he should have got more help with the vocals , being its live...

  • @supermanbatman43 so do I

  • is dat jack black wow

  • I love Andre, but hate everything about this.

  • wow....this really IS offensive. I'm suprised.

  • au début ca fait pas mal du lady gaga style o.o

  • @00lauriie Un peu mais heureusement ils étaient la bien avant Lady Gaga que j'aprécie tous de meme ils ont leurs style a eu

  • @NativeLife09 True, there were no 'black' people here before Columbus came; for a people to describe themselves as a color is a trick and an effect of European mind control. However, there were Moors in America before the European came. The Moorish empire, which extended from Europe, the middle east, North Africa and the eastern shores of North America fell in 1492 when they were expelled from Spain. The Moors were black people. The were the Pirates, the reason why the Spanish Armada ruled.

  • lol why is the category sports......

  • he is crazy meeenn!!!:D

  • i lol'd when he droped the mic' :))

  • seconds later..and the grammy for Best Album....Speakerboxx/The Love Below..Outkast!!

  • stop disrespecting andre 3000 with all your comments about conspiracy and racial profiling...he is the greatest rap artest ever, this is a good song, show some love

  • @therealdavewhalen don't think he is the greatest ever honestly. I don't think a thing exsits, but he is one of the best all time.

  • @EyesOfTheSouthSTi i guess thats a good point, especialy with the wide variety of oppinions that everyone is entitled to, but i think andre is as close as it gets...he is a lyrical genious!

  • @therealdavewhalen nice to run into someone on youtube who is chill and not a douchebag because of differeing opinions haha.

    have a good one.

  • This wasn't meant to make fun of Native American cultures. It is just used as a visual theme. People should get over their bloated cultural pride and realize it is all in fun.

  • lot of blacks have native american decent....so no its not racist....african wore feathers 2....so what

  • the crowd hardly move man.. shame

  • I remember watching this. And I thought the Grammy's finaly respected native ameica artists. The beginning sounded like native american. And have a bunch of african americans dressed as native americans. Caused a scandal. I think its a slap in the face of native americans. I would personally like to see a native american artist perform at the Grammy's. Its still a good song, but they didnt have to dress up like native americans.

  • @nativedancingmaiden You've been lied to by the government controlled public school system. The confederacy of tribes on Turtle Island (America) which included Moors (aka blacks, aka African Americans) as well as the other Asiatics who today are called 'Native Americans', existed for thousands of years before Columbus used his map--provided by the conquered Moors of Spain--too 'discover' Amexem aka Turtle Island aka America. In short: Black people are native to every corner of this planet.

  • y is that the ppl in the back r always moving n dancing while the front r only clapping???

  • i love the way the DJ 'shakes' the beat...that`s the coolest thing..XD..love this , thx 4 uploading..;)

  • Whip my hair lol.

  • GO C DECEVIO NEW WEST ORDER ON YOUTUBE 2012

  • Andre is a true original

  • Ha! is that all you got ren? "ur an idiot." Go ahead and reply something as dumb as ur first. i wont waste my time any further.

  • I Would Have Gone Completely insane there why the crowd soo dead ???

  • @Milaan222 Because it's mostly other musicians and artists and it's no big deal to them!

  • @Milaan222 lolz mee toooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Milaan222 maybe theyre racist, just a thought

  • @Milaan222 Because they cant see what legend is on stage.

  • @Milaan222 omg are u seriously that stupid? they muted the crow cuz then we wouldnt hear it

  • @Milaan222 well the crowd is screaming their guts out...you just cant hear it much cos of audio.they higher the bands more.

  • Total misrepresentation of Native Peoples authentic cultures! I'm tired of people who think bastardized crap like this "okay" because the person whose doing it is a so-called "1/4" or "1/2" Native. Just because you think you may have some minute amount of Native blood don't mean you intuitively know what it is to be Native all of a sudden. Andre, I'm slappin' ya if I ever come across you! Wanblii Ake Glii said it! What! Lol.

  • @realnative79 wow, ur an idiot

  • this is like the most ridiculous and unnececary song introduction ever...

    LOVE IT

  • brilliant live

  • i just thought it was shitty..nothing special

  • this is one of the best grammy moments i can remember!

  • ok.....that right there....that right there....that was sick.

  • That is a shit mix, Andre to loud for backing and backups.

  • My favorite Indian is the one at 4:18.

  • @p4h10oso hahaha man! mine too))

  • 15 people hate indians

  • thanks

  • omg, this sounds crap. He can't sing. Am I the only one who hears this?

  • @timo906 yeh you the only one

  • @raveonsteviewoo i know right i love this

  • that's the stuff

  • This dude cant dance okay

  • @nelsoninigo Andre dance good he just chose that weird dance for this vid

  • a standing ovation for song of the decade

  • one of the best perfomance ever seen!!!!

  • @YoungPricelessFamily I love Outkast, and I'm not saying this isn't a good performance. But if you think this is on of the best performance's you've ever seen. Then Either you are 6, or you don't know about music :P

  • @Shibbynator013 It's just the fact that's a performance which combines originality and creativity. Not everyone can do that.

  • @YoungPricelessFamily Yeah you're right, but it's still FAR FAR away from the best performance ever :)....

Haven't changed my mind about that. There are more artists creative and original. (and probably MORE creative and MORE original)..

And those artists can actually sing :)

Again, I like Outkast alot, but saying it's one of the best performance's ever is a BIG insult to music :)

  • @Shibbynator013 Eh you can say jus Andre 3000 lol

  • adoro esse cara elel canta demais mesmo sera que lel ja veio aqui no brasil...

  • stop saying there is a higher meaning, it's just fucking around..

  • Everything was choreographed great! I was a little weird though

  • Im pretty sure hes just fucking around with the whole indian theme thing cause hes andre 3000 and he can do whatever he wants, not really any message.

ha I like how the mic drops on the floor.

  • ke presentacion tan chingona... uuuuuuuuuuuu las bailarinas estuvieron estupendas..... no e encontrado esta version en mp3 .... me gustaria ke la subieran

  • Absolutly amazing. Great song. Good teamwork. The trumpet guys dancing, those two drum guys shaking it and all. I can see this video all day long.

  • This is racist crap, man.

  • I don't think that's their intention, but I understand why it would offend people. It's enforcing Native American stereotypes that should've been gone a long time ago.

Still, you can't help finding the song really catchy.

  • I though the part with the marching band was rather insulting to the Native Americans.

  • what he say before start sing?

  • @TinoJota Andre said the native ar definitely restless.

  • That fuckin SONY MUSIC limited my videos!, Why ? put up your cd' into your SONY's ass. Motherfuckers!!!!

  • I can listen to this song all the time.

    Love It !

And this babe on the right from Andre!!!!!!!!!

    aaaaaaa Hey Ya !!!!! :D

  • I like the opening bit. There are some Fancy Dancers that have some killer moves, in full War Dance gear, that would put a few pro backup dancers to shame. At least somebody likes our people enough to even mention us in some small way.

    -Kiowa, and loving it!-
