Ok, found this out, what you need to do is this. Play "Viginti Tres" and "Wings for Marie [Pt, 1]" together, then play those two together whilst playing 10,000 days [Pt, 2], it is epic! Weird, it is in sync perfectly with all words surpassing each other perfectly, Maynard new what he was doing, but Tool wont emit this.. i think the three tracks together are called "Voltron". I did this by using Ableton, and putting each track in three audio lanes. then pressed play then.. i believe i passed out.

My cousin one of the best friends I ever had also had a disease that paraylzed her. At one point she couldn't walk anymore and stayed all day in bed. Heard yesterday from my mother that she died and for a second it made me think about this song. 10,000 days is just as amazing as all their other albums. Tool and APC are two of my favorite bands. Tool was my first concert ever, so I kind of have this deep respect. And the deep respect isn't just because they were my first concert, it's also if you understand the meaning past their lyrics, and Maynard's voice.

Why is it every Tool video I watch on YouTube has either a group of people arguing or lamenting on the death of the music industry or how Tool is omnipotent or completely horrible. What ever happened to just listening, enjoying and pursuing the music that drives you and ignoring the rest? Arguing whether or not Tool is the greatest band ever is like masturbating with a handful of nails. Yeah, you can do it and the motion is the same but that doesn't mean you'll accomplish anything productive.
Tool fans think they're smarter than everyone else. They get this self-entitlement by revelling in Tool's intellectual image as if it's perfect and infallible, and feel that by listening to Tool's music, they have been blessed with some kind of brilliance, by an inexplicable omniscience. They then try to rationalise this new found brilliance , by counter-arguing every comment by saying 'everything is open to interpretation - just like Tool songs.' I'd know. I'm a Tool fan.

I used to not like many Tool songs. I only like the fast paced ones, but now i love their slow ambient/haunting music as well. And pretty much everything about Tool...

My cousin one of the best friends I ever had also had a disease that paraylzed her. At one point she couldn't walk anymore and stayed all day in bed. Heard yesterday from my mother that she died and for a second it made me think about this song. She was always so nice to people and yet people around her treated her like crap...why can't we humans appreciate the good humans among us...

10,000 days is just as amazing as all their other albums. Tool and APC are two of my favorite bands. People just hate because they either A) cannot appreciate good music or B) they are jealous because they are NOWHERE near this talented and probably never will be so they hate to feel better about themselves.

I love this song.
Tool was my first concert ever, so I kind of have this deep respect. And the deep respect isn't just because they were my first concert, it's also if you understand the meaning past their lyrics, and Maynard's voice.
His voice is just beautiful, in all of his songs.

its really amazing how much Tool has grown up. From being angry young 20 year olds in Opiate to enlightened, forgiving, and calm. Even though The Pot is an angry song, they're really evolving as a band.

Why is it every Tool video I watch on YouTube has either a group of people arguing or lamenting on the death of the music industry or how Tool is omnipotent or completely horrible. What ever happened to just listening, enjoying and pursuing the music that drives you and ignoring the rest? Arguing whether or not Tool is the greatest band ever is like masturbating with a handful of nails. Yeah, you can do it and the motion is the same but that doesn't mean you'll accomplish anything productive.

Tool fans think they're smarter than everyone else. They get this self-entitlement by revelling in Tool's intellectual image as if it's perfect and infallible, and feel that by listening to Tool's music, they have been blessed with some kind of brilliance, by an inexplicable omniscience. They then try to rationalise this new found brilliance , by counter-arguing every comment by saying 'everything is open to interpretation - just like Tool songs.' I'd know. I'm a Tool fan.

@Suckassloser theres another group: people who knows its hard to find a band that actually shares your opinion/point of view,way of thinking,etc about some topics in life and then you stabilished a relationship with those artist, i dont think tool has blessed me, but yeas!, i think they could be an intellectual reflexion, i dont believe in perfection(i dont like 10000k days as much as all the previous)so this is a 3rd group and im sure theres others.

@NizzBomb69 You know what, yes I did, and I really should've not only recognised that (as I did) but pulled myself out of my own arse, instead of trying to impress a bunch of other egotists. By that I mean other people with their heads stuck in their arses. I was having a kinda phase a few weeks back in which I wanted to be snide about other people's intelligences by actually feigning it myself. The worst part? I'm 19 and this is behavioural common for 15 year olds with no girlfriends. =P

I really feel sorry for those out there who say Tool is terrible, who can't see the beauty in the way that they write songs. There's something truly unique and heartwrenching in the pure, raw, primal EMOTION that Maynard puts into his songwriting, and damn me, I love it to death.

@hasayo666 The dislikers are most likely people who like Tool's faster paced songs (like Vicarious and The Pot) and were looking for other songs expecting a similar sound. I used to not like many Tool songs. I only like the fast paced ones, but now i love their slow ambient/haunting music as well. And pretty much everything about Tool...

I totally disagree with LichKing, mainly because Aenima is the album that made Tool really popular along with the accompanying Lollapalooza tour, but it's still not mainstream. @clintewoodyt Si. Ha the very first time I saw them at Lollapalooza in 96 in Corpus they opened with that song. I think it was 96. Keenan had white face paint, a lock of hair strapped to his head, spandex, and hooters. A man in front of me was freaking out because the instant moshing was causing him to spill his 4 expensive beers he was carrying all over himself. Good times.

@agustinkpo97 Yeah. 10,000 days is about 27 years, which is the time between his mother being paralyzed from a stroke to when she died. Apparently she kept her faith in God throughout the whole ordeal which explains the Christian themes in the lyrics. Very sad, but beautiful song.

I waited 20 minutes for both parts of this song to load. After I was two minutes into the second part I got a message saying Adobe Flash player crashed. I am now staring at the screen with my mouth open in disbelief. I was going to go to bed after listening to this masterpiece but instead I'll go to bed with thoughts of killing everyone in the world.
