after the end appeared, save the game @ that time and stop playing. Then set your PS2's clock 7 days ahead (or you can wait for a whole week). Then that happens. He's gone cos' he is too old.

I would have gone for the fight and beaten him without killing him. He gives you the Mosin-Nagant, which is EXTREMELY useful for this type of speedrun.

Yes but there is a timing to keep do something like that... it's typical in all MGS...

If you didn't know it, that's mean that your didn't learn many things about this game and the gameplay.
