Here's why the experiment was flawed. They clearly show in the diagram that the other end of the current was over the dummy's head. They didn't fill the dummy all the way with gel. Do the math.

Also, it's documented that this has happened and people will vouch from personal experience that you can get a shocking surprise from peeing on electrified things, like a electric cattle fence.

@sirfragalot92 They dismissed that variable when they repeated the test having him up close to the rail. he got electrocuted and fell. You can clearly see there that the rig does work. Also, in their revisted episode of this myth, they show that you can indeed get shocked if ur're peeing close to it to make a solid stream. So their science is still valid; it all comes down to the solid stream of pee.

NO... the next step is what's called "peer review".

As an electrician the obvious mistake they did there is that the electricity doesn't go through the unsteady stream of urine and through the body(which is like a big resistor) , it goes to the shortest path to the ground.

Since the rail and the mud dirt beneath it is all wet, there is a direct path to the ground right there.

The only way to know if the electricity is even leaking is with a residual current detector.

Error- most people do not wear rubber shoes. I specifically buy work boots that prevent up to 600 v AC conduction. Standard tennis shoes and or work boots do not provide that. But they don't put a pair of Nike's on him they put rubber shoes.

Error- they used a AC transformer.  Third rails use DC current and yes there's a lot of actual difference even with equal voltage.

Error- they themselves talk about pressure but then do not provide enough pressure to hit the rail while maintaining a stream. Yet, their solution is to do the ridiculous 6 inch away with a huge tube.

Error- a human is completely conductive.

We do not have a plastic non-conductive skin and skeleton.
