As the majority ethnic group in China, the Han group are the ones dubbed as Chinese. I wouldn't call myself Chinese but I can say that we're a Chinese ethnic group simply because we're from China...but I wouldn't confuse this with the fact that we are not Han. We're distinctly Mien from the Yao minority nationality.
