  • THIS IS DANGEROUS FOR A CAR TO START WITHOUT ANYONE INSIDE zomg wow

  • @shellshock940T OMG U NOOB.

  • Thanks, just the instruction I needed.

  • My dad has remote start on his brand new avalanche

  • my dream car :D

  • I think it's 200 feet

  • What is the furthest distance the remote will work?

  • do you still have this car?

  • @arun4urmoney My uncle still has it, yes.

  • i can do this to

  • a very cool im getting mine on my truck today im exctied

  • @MiguelsChatBox

    "a very cool"

    A very cool what?!

  • i learned that if u wana increase the time on it (instead of 2 start-ups of 10mins) you can do the same relock and start after u hav already remote started it, this will add 10 more mins. so it stays start for 20 mins then shuts off, then u can restart it again.

  • No u don't have shut off and restart it on the inside all u have to do is lock the doors then hold the remote start to start it then unlock it an get in and turn the key ti the on postition

  • After starting the car with the remote, then unlocking the door, can you just drive away? or do you have to shut off and restart?

  • So lock button once or twice?

  • Do you know if there is a way to extend the run time after a remote start?

  • nice.

  • navigation?

  • No.

  • haha i knew it.. cause the ones that have navi like my suburban in my videos. they make a weird noise before it starts up.. kinda like an rc car when u steer them.. thats the way the ones with navi sound,

  • Does this have the 5.3 in it or the 6.2?

  • 5.3.

  • i just got my 07 Tahoe this week and i didnt even know that it had a remote start . . . thanks!!!

  • How did u get it to start

  • I pressed the unlock button twice (it'll start on one press...I just like the horn) and then pressed and held the button on the top of the remote designated for remote start. That's how.

  • did you press lock or unlock button twice??

  • Lock....sorry.

  • yeap I thought so. I just bought a 07 used Escalade and was trying to figure out how to remote start my car. Your video helped me much.. Thanks!

  • luv the tahoe

  • hey can you show the power liftgate open & close for me?? thanks beautiful chevy by the way

  • I would if the vehicle were ours. It's my uncle's truck.

  • haha lol, thanks anyway

  • i didn't know the flashers turn the engine off. u could just hold the remote start button again that will do it too...

  • I figured I would show you all another way to shut the engine off. I could have been boring and pressed the button again or put the key in the ignition, but I didn't.

  • I think factory installed remote starts are better than aftermarket

  • Definitely. For the most part, they're more reliable than aftermarket units.

  • My Avalanche starts like that 90% of the time, but occasionally it fails to start. Chevy Dealer can't find anything wrong with it.

  • I noticed that in your video. I couldn't tell you why it does that.

  • thats how you turn it off? with the emergency flashers? wtf? Can you drive it with out the key in the ignition? Why even make keys now in days.....

  • No, you can't drive it with the key not in the ignition. Since the key is not in the ignition, the steering and gear selector are locked. Same with the gas pedal.

  • Thats cool, can you still crank it over like a regular car with out autostarting it.

  • Yeah, you can. It's just nice to have autostart in the summer and winter.

  • If you step on the break it shuts the car off too.

  • What kind of discounts did he use to get the Tahoe for that price??

  • He used to work for a company that got huge discounts. At the time, February '07, there were huge huge discount on all SUV's in Texas. He knocked $7,000 and $3,000 off with just discounts, and then he had a trade in. h

  • love the remote start, i have a 07 Suburban LTZ, LOVE IT

  • how much is this tahoe????

  • I think it was $56,000 sticker, but was purchased for $42,000 using several discounts. It's also not ours...it's my uncles.

  • thats cool but very odd.

  • Did the hazzard lights cut the engine off?

  • Sure did. In the owners manual, it stated that the vehicle may be shut off by turning the hazards on or something else I can't remember.

  • What happened to the classic buzzer heard in earlier 1995 Tahoes? I hate that depressing chime. Why did Chevrolet have to switch to a chime in the newer Suburbans starting with the 2000 models?

  • I'm not familiar with the buzzer you speak of. However, I happen to like the GM chime.

  • Why is the tac at 0 when you get in? and is it a LT?

  • The key is not in the ignition and I was using remote start. In order to "turn the gauges on" I have to put the key in the ignition and turn the key to the "on" position.

    Good question.

  • Yeah, I've seen Napolean Dynamite. I absolutely HATE that movie.

I was wondering who you were. I figured it was a forumee.

  • hey it's MF2003 from the forum, if you ever seen napoleon dynamite you know what i'm talking about.

  • do you ever take it on any sweet jumps?

  • No, I didn't. That's really hard to do when the max speed you can go is 15 MPH because of the really bad roads.

  • Hi all of you MCAD people. This actually is the Tahoe. Enjoy!
