Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual discipline, originating in ancient India. Ok the plot of this movie is roughly this:
One of the Chinese guys 'wins' the hand of a woman in marriage in a kung fu competition, but finding that he's poor she sets him 3 tasks. The first is to steal a fighting manual from a monk, the second is to get a scarf from a whore and the final task is to steal the Yogi's ruby from his turban.

@Ryan82xxx yea a indian monk came to china to help the shaolin monks fend of warriors that were trying to steal the temples gold but it was taught in china it first started in china not india and he didnt realy teach the monks kung fu he taught them how to fight with sticks etc

The so called historians u quote are all on the payroll of the Chinese ministry of ancient military history & would go to any great length to fudge evidence in order to prove their point. @parkour3r2 no no no no. he way it happended was, shoalin monks bodys were deterioting from all the meditatingthy were doing< so a buddhist monk from india came and taught them yoga and indian spiritual exercises, and the shoalin took that and morphed it into kung fu, over a period of 1300 years, but the indians did introduce martial arts to china thats for sure

@Dookiebutt47 well to my understanding the past buddha whatever was in a cave and discovered certain postures aka yoga that could conduct certain energies. but no still could understand so he taught people/ the monk boxing aka kung fu to grasp the concept of applying central energy so they can understand yoga.
