Mairead is niether fat nor skinny and what if she is it's not your concern . get a friggin life you idiot but please tell me what a perfect body is and i could reply to you alone with words you may understand

  • the fruit from munro's loyns as stated in the film

  • She is absolutely amazing

  • Very nice tribute to Máiréad. She is amazing. She is incredible. She is brilliant. She is soooo talented and soooo beautiful and we love her to pieces. Thank you for doing this for her.

  • If this doesn't touch your soul, you haven't got one.

  • Muzyka z filmu "Ostatni Mohikanin"

  • A phenomenal tribute...thanks ever so much! Maybe the only thing that could make it better is a sound track of Máiréad playing the piece or the original..."The Gael" by Dougie Maclean.

As a very minor correction I believe you'll find it's "Promontory"

    Thanks ever so much again.

  • Great tribute, I love the music even though she isn't playing it. Her energy is amazing and this piece of music is matched to her perfectly. I watch this group just for her and I am loving every piece of video I can see of her. Thank you for this, keep up the good work.

  • I have to meet this girl,we look almost alike, but Im about 10 yrs older than she is.This is fun to me!

  • Great! So seamlessly done! I've seen their show live three times. And I got to meet her and get her autograph after the second show I saw. She was so nice! Even prettier in person than on the tv. Lovely girl!

  • Whoever did this is fantastic! What a fitting and beautiful tribute to a fine artist. Thank you.

  • she is an exceptional woman she really lives this music and makes me proud to be irish celtic this tribute brought a tear to my eye

  • just buy the sheetbook and learn it and i can now run and play the violin and atwirl a bit but cannot play with as much talent as her look for my name in a few years Troy Tucker

  • No mere mortal could do all those twirls and arabesque-looking things while playing the violin without getting their hair caught in the strings or snagged in the violin bow.

I am seriously starting to suspect that she is actually some taller species of pixie :)

  • @choklateluvr91

    How true.

  • she is an ageless faerie

  • Hmm, I thought she was part of the Celtic Woman group but what I've read about her says she was just invited to play for a little while.

  • If you mean Mairead, she is one of the 3 ladies that have been there from the start in 2004. They couldn't do without her.

Love the video on your homepage BTW.

  • Thank you for posting this wonderful video.

  • thankyou so much for this video it makes me sad i wish i could have known her or grew up with her shes a bit of an idol to be honest i can play butterfly but i wnt to play this more now x

  • hi!!!

-- how can i get the sheet for butterfly?

    -please....

  • Wow, this is really amazing! I love the song that you meshed in with all the CW show clips! This is definitely going into my favorites :D

  • the song is from The Last of the Mohicans

  • I have 2 ? How dose she dance and play the fiddle while wearing high heals? How dose she keep her hair out of the strings during all the twirling? lol

  • I dunno, omy. I think she must be extremely well-coordinated. I don't think even too many of the most talented violinists would be able to move about the stage playing the way Mairead does.

  • bravo

  • truly a great artist in our time. much applause!

  • the mohicans music turkish ( son mohikan ) listen please

  • I've just returned from Ireland and the new DVD recording. You will love Mairead's new material. DVD will be released in January and show airs on PBS pledge drives in November and December. More videos will come from that no doubt. Scott, Mairead forum administrator

  • She truely has a touch of the Fae in her, the way she lights up the stage.

  • Thank you for sharing.. i have never seen so much passion and power in such a tiny women... she is like a little elf.. you dont know what she is gonna do next...!!

  • ok ive had enough, is it your job to go to every Mairead video and comment about her weight? or her talent? because she is beautiful, and is extremly talented, she is not the least bit "chunky" as you put it, and even if she is, whys it matter? do you have the "perfect body?" id say not, you have your flaws and so does Mairead, so i think its time you stop commenting on her in a negative way, its unneeded and unwanted, just enjoy the beautiful music she plays and keep quit

  • He's just a kid trying to get attention FHS, dont let him get to you.

  • @FHSdrummer3 Sir you hit the nail right on the head. Whoever is complaining about Mairead should be ashamed of their self.

I am a Fashion Photographer, and Mairead is of perfect weight for her height.

Check her out in the video Dueling Violins ! She is better looking than allot of the models I see.

These girls are very talented and beautiful. ... Sir David

  • Mairead is fantastic! I love her way of moving when she sang and also her smile! But can someone tell me the TITLE OF THIS SONG? thanks

  • Next album Mairead "Promentory", Please. We all agree.

  • What a marvelous video! Promontory is perfect to go with the passion, movement, and energy of Mairead. Yes, I too would love to hear her play that tune. She would shed a few bow hairs doing it too I imagine. This is a truly fine tribute to the most amazing fiddler on the planet. Thank you.

  • This could have had no music whatsoever and i would still have been happy with it. Just a series of clips of Mairead. The music adds a great depth to the video. Great Job Titanica167
