Could someone enlighten me as to what the ground Genei-Jin combo Shintarou does vs Nuki is at 11:56? Mainly, how he gets the lunge punch in the middle of the combo. Was the fact that Nuki was crouching what made it possible?

yes, you can only get that float effect if they're crouching.

I for one am glad shend uploads all of these tourney vids. His uploads are like a compendium or third strike knowledge. and tbh i prefer 3s over most sf's. 4 is disappointing, i tourneyfagged @3 for ages and hated the lack or variety.

@coolcat2994 Sometimes he does 2i, which is a nice switchup, but no one ever plays it. In 2i Ibuki and Sean are top tier, followed I think by Dudley and Ken.

@moonlitearthx14 2i tiers are actually Ibuki, Sean and Akuma at the top, followed by Yang, Ryu and Dudley. Basically Yang was the better twin and Ryu was the better shoto. Crazy, I know.

@coolcat2994 look up user striderzer0‬‎, he uploads a bunch of tournaments for recent fighting games: SSF4, Blazblue, GuiltyGear, MvC2. Just no 3rd strike. This is the best place to get your 3rd strike fix.
