after having BMUS flopped, they should have learned already!
it makes me feel bad about konami and how they adjust their games to fit north american CONSOLE markets.. we've got their original games in our arcades... so why not in our consoles... except beatmania IIDX, I like keeping that game exclusive to importing cause its dopeee
As with "Rock Revolution," Konami's attempt at gaining ground in the American music/rhythm-sim market via a rip-off of their own awesome Japanese franchise is a bit of a stinker. From the looks of it, the controls (via the 360 controller) appear to be set up like DJ Max Portable's (five button mode, sharing middle button amongst a couple separate buttons) scheme in their series.
Don't let this particular game shy you away from pursuing Pop'n Music.
I was trying to get excited for this when I first heard of it, simply because I've never play Pop'n, but now I'm promising myself never to go near it.

Good lord the notes fall through no matter what. I'll stick to real Pop'n and steer clear of this bastardized abomination.
