My taste in music is great cos I support Oasis, they are still one of the biggest bands in the world and hence the tour there on now 29 countries and 2.3 million tickets sold, Oasis in the UK will be talked bout same way as Beatles, The Who, Stones simply cos they were the biggest selling British rock band in the 90's and played biggest gigs in the 90's. Oasis have sold over 70 Millon records worldwide so 70 Million people can't be wrong can they?

Oasis aren't an aveage band, a poll last year asked 50,000 British fans name best British albums of all time Oasis got top2, and there albums will always be remembered, and for an average badn no British Band in last 15 years has sold more records or played to more fans than Oasis. i would have agreed with you before july this year i went to see both blur @ hyde park + oasis @ wembley and blur blew oasis away, it was the far better gig and i left oasis having to convince myself it was better than it was.

i think people under estimate how huge Blur are and also just how world class they are.

Blur was lauded for being able to change up and continue to make great music even after their peak. After Oasis reached their peak with Morning Glory, they but the same shit out every other year. So yes, while Oasis was bigger than Blur, Blur was atleast able to sustain a high level, unlike Oasis, to the point to where now people think that Blur is the better band.
