Nice little video here. Videos from years ago make me feel nostalgic... Thanks for sharing with the world. :) I was especially interested since I now live in LA.
1991 was the last year "they" (secret Israeli nuclearism) allowed me to live in Los Angeles. And that was on Catalina-Alcatraz! And I was born there (Torrance).
L.A. gets rich by supplying halo (radio-Hypnotic Intracranial Visual Holographic Micro-biochips) implanted People to certain restricted U.S. cities (controlled by clandestine subterranean labs using synthetic telepathy/neuro-impulse weapons) and holding said individuals in "secret radiation captivity" for "processing" (subliminal brainwashing) into the "corporation". Sure. L.A.'s nice, but there is a secret hidden cancer there that will inevitably destroy it unless significant changes are made.
"Syhopeful OMG VAPOR TRAILS JET BLUE IS POISONING OUR SOULS" anagram-ciphers to "HE'S SLIME; DOOR NERVOUS & IN GP/DoD2 JAIL PIT LABS. DUD PODS FUTUROLOGY".
Crikeys, I used to live in Los Angeles and as soon as I see that Washington Blvd sign it's like I'm there again. Too accurate, my friend. You give me chills. Happy to be in New York City where the town doesn't go out of its way to try to destroy you. "It burns, mommy! Take it away!"
One of the greatest opening lines to arguably the most underrated song of the 80's.."Miss Christina drives a 944, satisfaction oozes from her pores..." tells you all you need to know about LA in those crazy days. God bless Youtube.
This song has absolutely got the best guitar riffs I have ever heard, they just wail away at the right times and really give this song an urban (not inner city) feel.
Thank you so much for your video which so magnificently compliments this brilliant song. "Welcome to the Boomtown" was actuallly a bigger hit here in Australia than in the U.S. It reached #21 on the charts here. It so eloquently speaks of the dichotomy to be found in affluent and decadent society such as in Cali... and with such a dream-like quality in the sound. This is the only song of theirs that I got to know but regard it as an absolute American classic of teh Era! Thanks again!
Almost anyone I know...say's David and David...who? Ahhhhhhhh phhhhhffffttttttttttt~ I thnik they were a head of their time~! The Video is very good...work's well with this song~!
I hit one of my bottoms from drug and alcohol abuse when this song was popular, or at least popular to me. Finally clean and sober 13 yrs april 1 thank you God!

song would fit perfectly as the "swan song" for those Donald Trump - wannabees back in 2006 before the crash!
