The artist did release official art work which you see that its not only a friendship thing between those. So technically the anime isnt yaoi, but there is yaoi couple in it.

Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicals, i think that's how its spelt! Its not the main characters and there are only shonen-ia hints because its a CLAMP creation so there will be very little BL in it! Hope i've helped!
