  • "Pirate software"? Software that demonstrates death and plunder on the high seas? Seriously that would be awesome. I don't thing that's what you talking about. It's just copied or shared software.

  • lol I love this guy too funny

  • Your showing us how to do it, but your telling us to never do it lol

  • The only Apple software that can legally run on a Windows machine for right now is iTunes.

  • @ziprider255 yea no, quicktime, safari, ect

  • @chantinginmysleep Oh, right. Sorry, forgot about those.

  • where do you download macsus. and no I do not care about legal reasons!

  • its called maxxuss patch just search that on google

  • omg the legal issues are the least problem because the government cant control and see every little thing we do or can they???? installing Ubuntu isn't illegal because it is meant as a secondary OS to function on a PC'S hardware!! this video answered all my questions!!!

  • Nothing is Legal. It's even illegal to put iTunes music on a MP3 then a iPod

  • So it's just the legal issues of using it that are the problem?

  • There are other ones. For instance, the lack of wireless and a few other missing features depending on the hardware.

  • Copyright is theft.

  • Not really dirkcjelli

  • buy an apple external HD

install MAC on the apple external HD

    use it legally

    simple

  • wtf retard

  • @13thpersoncomedy

apple says OSX can only RUN on a Apple labelled computer, sure it would be legal until you run it on your pc

  • ITS OS 10

  • We can run Windows on a Mac, but we can't run OS X on our PCs? What kind of hypocritical shit is that?

  • Microsoft doesn't limit which computers people install their software on. Apple, on the other hand, does limit it, to just Macs.

  • And there's a reason for it. Apple's hardware has been specially designed for it's operating system, Mac OS X. But when you use different hardware, it never will work as good or better as the original Macintosh hardware.

  • hardware is hardware, ever since mac went to an Intel chip there's no difference in a mac with an Intel and a PC with an Intel. just get good hardware.

  • Software and Hardware designed to work together, work together well.

  • we can but it's illegal :S

  • I meant legally lol.

  • Can I do the same exact process that he said, but using my iPod as a Hard Disk? (iPod Video 60GB)??

  • No, because the BIOS doesn't recognizes the iPod as a harddrive but as an unknown USB-device, so it will not be bootable.

  • Well... no.

  • can you do this on an amd processor?

  • yep, Intel and AMD

  • sorry dude. bud buy a mac and relax

  • Why.....

  • I pirated Nero 7!

  • so...

  • this really isnt the way to do it but i guess it would work it can be way simpler than this

  • can you tell me how?

  • Yeah Apple did have OS X 86 open, but since people were hacking it to work on any PC they closed it up last year. Not sure about OS X 10.5, which just got UNIX 03 certification.

  • hey i never said it was new, but this is the first time cnet doing it thats why i put it up

  • this is so 2 years ago
