If I am not mistaken that is a reticulated python and are not venomous although they have rows and rows of needle sharp teeth which can leave a nasty wound. I had a pet like that much bigger 15-feet when I was 10 years old to a teenager. They are such beautiful creatures.

That's a python or constrictor of some sort and it was a warning most pythons/contrictors do a mock bite... basically they head butt you.
