I tried these and they are terrible for everything, whilst at the gym you can HEAR them moving around in your ear, whilst using them normally they kill your ears too, the sound isn't even decent. The only thing good about them is that they look really good.

Returned them and got some Sony ones instead.

lol monster turbines dont distort sound at all if youve never heard the turbine pros i wouldnt talk. idk what you are talking about, but the turbines are insanely clear and they have a perfect balance of mids highs and bass so nothing drowns out anything else. i compared to my friends skullcandy in ear ones (idk which one but the expensive ones not the $20 ones) and those had an overpowering bass and were nowhere near as clear as my turbines. trut me i know what im talking about as an audiophile

@RadeonX0X I haven't heard any Apple headphones with good sound quality, I'll tell you that. I recommend Sennheiser HD 202 if you want good sound for a low price. It's $20. I heard from some friends who don't fall for the Apple/Bose hype that Grado SR60s are pretty good for about $80. They aren't my style but they're great. I personally own Sennheiser HD 555s. Amazing for its price: $85 on Amazon.

Yeah, am fucking serious, steve job's crow shit earphones are fucked up - but at any price point an ANC headphone is a piece of shit compared to a non NC headphone - the phase inverted NC signal from the mic spoils the fidelity & the gain sensitivity even if controlled by DSP always causes a time lag between overlapping signals that any refined ear can notice.

So it does not fucking matter which brand the NC headphone belongs to - the tech is not pure.
