He is now 17 so you won't hear his treble voice again. They rushed this one out just before his voice broke and he was already past his best.

If you hear his voice in an interview you can hear he has deffinetly not gone through the voice change. When he hit puberty though, he'll not be able to sing that way the same way he does now. he may have a chanse in falsetto singing. My point is: The difference of a mans voice before hitting buberty and a lady above lets say 13 NO is nothing! That is why he can sing like that.

@carter2255 How can you tell? There is no reason to suppose that a boy with a world class treble, which his isn't, will develop a a world class adult voice. He will have a voice certainly but there is no guarantee that it will be a great one, or that he will achieve an international standing. Aled Jones had a far superior voice and after a period of rest and then tuition at the Royal Acadamy he emerged as a fine lyric tenor, but he does not fit into the pantheon of great tenors.
@mike118117 obviously you have your opinion but mine is that this lad was a world class treble. There is no guarantee of course of International standing with ANY voice Andrew is studying at one of the finest conservatoires in the country so my guess is he will do just fine. Andrew has a differnt voice from Aled Jones, the lad has much more power and depth and richness, a really superb voice and one I can't wait to hear when it fuly develops.
@carter2255 I would hardly rate The RNCM as one of the finest conservatoires in the country. The RAM the GSM and RCM are among the finest. The Northern is a good provincial one but is not I think in the "Ivy League" so to speak, of music colleges. I understand that he still lives in Carlisle and has singing lessons at the Northern. That is a bit different from being a student there. Also he gives public performances which at his stage of development is not good for his voice.
@mike118117 I beg to differ but obviously you have your opinion. I am sure the conservatoire know what they are doing. I think you'll find the lad is enrolled as a student studying many more aspects other than voice along with other exceptional young talents. I look forward to hearing more from him in the future.
@carter2255 As a sixteen year old he is still required to follow full time education so he is not a full time student at the Northern. I understand that it is his intention to go there to study when he is eighteen. I am given to understand by Wiki that he is no longer at Trinity School; but has a private tutor at home. Not a smart move at his age. Faryl attends her state school and only has a tutor when engagements cause her to be absent for a while.
Loved Faryl on BGT and was sad to see the voting results go so badly wrong but I knew she would do well with the exposure gained from being on mainstream TV.
NOW check out the new kid on the scene in USA search JACKIE EVANCHO, again voters didnt do her justice but 'WOW' she is good.

It was written to be performed by a boy treble, which Andrew is, and definitly not a heavy metal group like Nightwish who to my recollection are not nuns. He and Faryl sing it as it was intended to be sung. When exactly did Andrew admit to being gay? Certainly not as a 13 year old and I have not seen or heard a quote to date admitting that he is. If you hear his voice in an interview you can hear he has deffinetly not gone through the voice change. When he hit puberty though, he'll not be able to sing that way the same way he does now. he may have a chanse in falsetto singing. My point is: The difference of a mans voice before hitting buberty and a lady above lets say 13 NO is nothing! That is why he can sing like that.

@noilet If you look on his face book ,it shows a recent video of him singing in his church ,He is now A TENOR and is all grown up either a tenor or a baritone ,He is not singing much as he has to retrain his NEW voice and let completely develop ,Andrew looks completely different you would not recognize him ,he has grown up I suppose ,

@mike118117 his voice is in transition and what a voice, he is obviously being managed very well by the sound and quality, obviously girls do not have to deal with the same problems as boys so they can carry on. This lad has a huge future.

@carter2255 How can you tell? There is no reason to suppose that a boy with a world class treble, which his isn't, will develop a a world class adult voice. He will have a voice certainly but there is no guarantee that it will be a great one, or that he will achieve an international standing. Aled Jones had a far superior voice and after a period of rest and then tuition at the Royal Acadamy he emerged as a fine lyric tenor, but he does not fit into the pantheon of great tenors.

There is no guarantee of course of International standing with ANY voice Andrew is studying at one of the finest conservatoires in the country so my guess is he will do just fine. Andrew has a differnt voice from Aled Jones, the lad has much more power and depth and richness, a really superb voice and one I can't wait to hear when it fuly develops.

@carter2255 I would hardly rate The RNCM as one of the finest conservatoires in the country. The RAM the GSM and RCM are among the finest. The Northern is a good provincial one but is not I think in the "Ivy League" so to speak, of music colleges. I understand that he still lives in Carlisle and has singing lessons at the Northern. That is a bit different from being a student there. Also he gives public performances which at his stage of development is not good for his voice.

I think you'll find the lad is enrolled as a student studying many more aspects other than voice along with other exceptional young talents. I look forward to hearing more from him in the future.

@carter2255 As a sixteen year old he is still required to follow full time education so he is not a full time student at the Northern. I understand that it is his intention to go there to study when he is eighteen. I am given to understand by Wiki that he is no longer at Trinity School; but has a private tutor at home. Not a smart move at his age. Faryl attends her state school and only has a tutor when engagements cause her to be absent for a while.
