Moose are awesome to see.. and just know that they usually don't bother humans.... a moose attack is VERY rare, and I don't believe I've ever heard of one happening in Algonquin Park.. EVER.
oh man! when i was at algonquin around may last year with my outdoor education class, we were about 100 yards away from the boat house where we started and a moose came out of nowhere and swam right through our convoy of canoes. it was like 2 meters away from my canoe and i was scared it was going to demolish me and my boat but that was so incredable, i never felt so alive and i will never forget that moment for as long as i live.
grandma and grandpa see a moose every time they go up, and we've only seen one once! must have been because it was we had a great time, and it wanted to make it greater? i have a few pictures, if you'd like them.
