BRK Gorilladin 101

i have a turtle, but unlike the video, mine thunderstomps even when there is only 1 thing there. Is there a way to fix this or does it only work with gorillas?

@Warmjellow Go to the pets skills from the sub tab. And right click on thunderstomp to stop it from autocasting.

Now that they nerfed gorilladins (okay, they gave thunderstomp to all tenacity pets, but i call it a nerf) i use turtleadin :) shell shield thunderstomp BW combo is fun!!

make sure cower is off at all times and go into aspect of the viper to reduce damage for continious AOE

I agree, cower off and viper help a lot. Sure, viper slows down damage, but there's no recovery time after pulls and you can do continuous mends, volleys and explosive traps. BRK doesn't mention those traps, but they're useful with this kind of pulling I think.

Hey I'm sorry to pester you on this topic but I have a quick question. How do you make it so your Gorilladin only uses his Thunderstomp ability when there are two or more monsters in range? Also, what macros should I have to use my Gorilladin to his maximum potential? Thank-you so much, I realize you are probably very busy.

trouble i have found is, even with only a lvl 67 gorilladin, (killing stuff in nagrand), he has them almost dead before i can get more than 4 or 5 on him. that, and its hard to hold too many without them de-aggroing

It's a rare spawn in the gorilla cave in Un'goro Crater. I parked my hunter there for 2 days and checked every so often and eventually got him. By far one of the best looking gorillas in the game.

Actually, thunderstomp is just a "lite" version of thunderclap, the warrior ability. It doesn't work quite the same as consecrate.

Mic makes sure u always check the cower is turned off, like BRK said it's bugged and unless its on on ur pet bar, it will be set to auto-cast everytime u dismount, or resummon it.

What's funny is I stubbornly used a gorilla over a cat for a very long time because I loved the *idea* of thunderstomp so much. When I began raiding and had to face reality I finally used my cat primarily. But with the patch, thunderstomp has finally caught up with what I hoped it would be the whole time! Sometimes it is difficult not to get carried away with my gorilla and draw everything under the sun. His name is Diddy and I love him.

I love my gorilla, same skin as BRK's. So far I've gotten some nasty Thunderstomp crits for around 2600 with all my cooldowns up.
