Never was big MegaMan fan until recently and I got Legends for the PSP but been having so much trouble cause I couldnt read Japanese but I managed to get very far not knowing what was going on so I do hope they release Legends on PSN cause I would like to know what happens in the story.
I've never played megaman , but for quote , the playstation 1 still is from today my favorite video game console .
i have other stuff , but the psone have the best games ever for , parasite eve 1 and 2 , resident evil 1 and 2 ( nemesis was different ) metal gear solid , battle arena toshiden , bloody roar , soul blade ( soul caliber now ) abe's odd world , galerians , dino crisis , silent bomber , c-12 resistance awesome underrated game .

legends was a cool game i remember playing it on ps1 way back in the day but i also hated it because the loading time was just ridiculous to the point where it ruined my experience
so far most of the games you guyshave reviewed are games i had and loved as a kid and now i kids of myself and wow my sons like, "daddy dats what we got " or " we just played dat game" love the show

The English voices for Legends were the best Mega Man franchise voices o.O Also Mega Man never actually appeared in Misadventures of Tron Bonne. Other than that it's great to see there are people who appreciate Legends. Capcom certainly doesn't.

Hey guys, I've been scouring my area for a copy of Legends 1 and 2, you see, playing Megaman 64 on my computer just isn't going to cut it. And as you know the 64 didn't have a version of Legends 2. Do you happen to know of any stores that would have old games like this? I must have had my Legends love rekindles a few years ago and have been hoping to find the playstation game ever since.
Too bad the Tron Bonne game goes for so much on the second hand market these days, or I'd consider buying a copy. It and the other Legends games really need to be put onto the PS store.
@sircoolvideos I was ecstatic when I read your comment, and when I checked it out, it seems you're right. However, I quickly realized that since it's from the UK, it's PAL region coded. I'm American, so I wouldn't even be able to play it without buying a new PlayStation. The page for Misadventures on the American version of Amazon has it as 100 dollars used, which is about 70 pounds I think.
@macfluffers dam i forgot but if ur willing to theirs free roms of all legends and tron bonne games if ur willing to search for them im afraid its the best chance i have to play the first 2 legends games due to how rare they the roms work fine u need a ps1 emulator for tron bonne and megaman legends 2 and a n64 emulator for the first game emutaltors are easy to find just for the roms u neeed to look a bit for them but they do exist
@macfluffers dont worry their simple all u need to do is download them and their should be a file to star t the emulator then u click file open rom or cd image depending on the emulator and click on the folder that contains the roms or the format the rom is in all u gotta be weary of is dodgy roms which are around the net

Ahhhh Mega Man Legends 1...my favorite Mega Man of all time. It's just so unique, hilarious, an absolute joy to listen to, and the most fun I ever had since MM2. I'm so happy to see people giving this series the props it deserves, and not panning it like so many people did for years just because it wasn't generic overdone 2-D Mega Man part fifty million. No offense, since I love the Mega Man series in general, I just thought this game got treated unfairly in its day aside from the cult following

Played both on the original psone..although i played 2 before 1. Legends 2 was so awesome i went hunting down 1. I was very disappointing they skipped the whole ps2 gen life without an installment, but hope they come to their senses and release one soon.....a full game no more demos tho.
@alienwayz I also played the 2nd one before the 1st, after 10 years the game is still in a somewhat playable condition (little brother kept leaving it on the carpet)
Though I am a fan of the Mega Man Legends series, I have not always been a huge fan of the art style, I missed the helmet, and I liked him being a slightly shorter, stockier stature, this is a great series, but I am going to have to say the Mega Man X series is my favourite
@toegone You get the helmet as an armor upgrade pretty early in the game. But I can see what you mean. However, I prefer the more mature look of Mega Man to the chubster. And I grew up with the NES games. To each his own, they say!

I have gained an interest in the PSP games as they are cheaper to import but i dont know if it will work on my UK PSP or if its in English (I cant read Japanese).
@SonicKing08 They are purely written in Japanese, sorry bro. About the fact that your PSP is from the UK, Im not sure if PSPs are region locked, so I cant help you with that. Maybe if you hacked and/or chipped it you may be able to eliminate the region lock, but still im not sure ( you could still download it and play it on a PS Emulator on your PSP, or download the ISO and play it on a PS Emulator on your computer though ).

It amazes me how many people didn't actually like the game when it first came out. This series is amazing, can't wait for megaman legends 3 on the 3ds.
i grew up in the X series era. i honestly didnt like the Legends series, even tho i played the first one religiously. its just seemed way too far in the timeline for me to fully comprehend what was going on(at the time). The MegaMan X fanboy in me wants X9 and X10/XX but will hve to settle with Legends 3 for now....

Reason for Mega Man Legends 1 & 2 on PSP not released in North America probably has something to do with the poor Sales of Mega Man: Powered Up and Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X
damn, i didn't even know that there was a second megaman legends! i played the first one on my n64 as a kid and friggin loved it. now i really want that psp game of both of them to come out so i can play the first again, and the second after.
This was the first Mega Man game I played. I really liked it, but I wish it could have been a longer game. The story mode can be beaten in about 6-8 hours, but if you do everything, you can stretch it out a couple hours more.
Capcom has actually recently mentioned that they have plans to announce a 'bombshell sequel' at E3 this year. I'm honestly kinda hoping it's Mega Man Legends 3, because I agree with you guys. I completely love the games, and I would be completely thrilled if Capcom finally released a sequel after the cliffhanger we got in the second game.

I really want to get the first 2 before I buy the 3DS MegaMan Legends 3 but in the UK the first 2 go for ridicules prices going from £50 to £80 ! :(
And dont get me started on the Misadventures of Tron Bonne, that goes from £80 to £120 ! >:(
I have gained an interest in the PSP games as they are cheaper to import but i dont know if it will work on my UK PSP or if its in English (I cant read Japanese).
Could Somebody please help me ;)

@SonicKing08 They are purely written in Japanese, sorry bro. About the fact that your PSP is from the UK, Im not sure if PSPs are region locked, so I cant help you with that. Maybe if you hacked and/or chipped it you may be able to eliminate the region lock, but still im not sure ( you could still download it and play it on a PS Emulator on your PSP, or download the ISO and play it on a PS Emulator on your computer though ).

Volnutt made an appearance in Tatsunoko vs Capcom, and Namco X Capcom.
The former a crossover fighting game, the latter a strategy RPG.

i grew up in the X series era. i honestly didnt like the Legends series, even tho i played the first one religiously. its just seemed way too far in the timeline for me to fully comprehend what was going on(at the time). The MegaMan X fanboy in me wants X9 and X10/XX but will hve to settle with Legends 3 for now....

This was the first Mega Man game I played. I really liked it, but I wish it could have been a longer game. The story mode can be beaten in about 6-8 hours, but if you do everything, you can stretch it out a couple hours more.

Capcom has actually recently mentioned that they have plans to announce a 'bombshell sequel' at E3 this year. I'm honestly kinda hoping it's Mega Man Legends 3, because I agree with you guys. I completely love the games, and I would be completely thrilled if Capcom finally released a sequel after the cliffhanger we got in the second game.
