The original group consisted of: Maizie Williams, Marcia Barrett, Liz Mitchell and Bobby Farrell - who was replaced by Reggie Tsiboe in 1981/1982. None of these original members are present on stage in this clip!

No point them putting their differences behind them, I saw Maizie Williams Boney M about 6 years ago, it was the worst thing I ever witnessed on a stage. She sang Brown Girl in the Ring in a different key to the rest of the band, and audience. No surpirse she never sang on any of the original recordings. Band were only thing that prevented the audience starting a full scale riot ( they were very good.) Never in my life have I seen 4 more inept goons murder a set.

In fact there is one original member here ... Sheyla Bonnick who was in the very first formation of Boney M. who promoted "Baby Do You Wanna Bump" back in 1975 together with Maizie Williams, Nathalie (soon replaced by Claudja Barry) and a guy called Mike. But unfortunately for Sheyla, she never stayed around long enough to become part of the hit formation ...
