I remember reading that the person isn't really dead they just look that way. After they're underground someone digs their body up one nite and takes their spirt and the body does whatever the master says. I don't really think they do autopsi's in Haiti because one, there might not be enough money for everything to be precise and two, the person is usually sick, well that's what the article told me.
