I personally, love the Twilight Saga, but I was disappointed with Breaking Dawn. A group of evil vampires don't turn up to a battle and basically say 'Oh sorry, we got it wrong, bye now'. No climax. God, Breaking Dawn was so shit, i'm an ex-twitard and in deep shame because of it. When i read Breaking Dawn it was like something woke up in my brain and i said to myself "wait, this is shit" i went back to the other books thinking "at least these are good" - i was soon disillusioned and realized how crap they all where.

i about died when the musical montage started. meyer could write a 'book' about explosive diarrhea and nutty madam would prolly drool all over it. i've read the whole twilight saga and breaking dawn made me barf. i don't hate twilight, but i don't love it either, but the insane fandom and hype over the story [i can't even call it literature] ruins it. while there's no depth or anything to the whole series, the books do draw you in. :'[ fuck you, meyer. i don't have enough space to rant.

@Solezamael Hm, yeh, particularly that part; it begs the question "what constitutes a good book?" Whether the series are actually any good or not (which I have no doubt they aren't and have no desire to find out), debating over it is futile as it is, after all, subjective. What IS a slight issue is her posting numerous (bizarre and sometimes disturbing) videos in which she abuses others if they don't like hyped-up trashy novels.

I really just dislike the level of hype it gets from diehard fans. I have no problem with a book drawing people into it to that level; hell, thats what fiction *should* do, but its when that 'obsessive world that has been created and surrounds Twilight' projects itself into the real world, it gets aggravating. Take all this other media, from books to films, using the Twilight phenomenon to get more sales, or Robert Pattison being cast as anything just because then Twifans will watch.
