  • Suffice to say of her..... sublime.

She and her compatriots in Fairport will forever resurrect fond memories.

  • Sandy Dennys' voice will forever haunt me

  • Sandy Denny was sometimes an uneven performer, if we are honest, and for reasons which are unfortunate. However, he vocal skills on this, and on the album version of Tam Lin, show her brilliance in sustaining emotion in a difficult track. She will always remain one of the great folksingers. RIP....

  • Wish this masterful line-up had a longer run. Wonder if that that's Mattacks on the drums?

  • @mistermousterian - i'm not sure which version this is exactly (most probably from sept '69) but in either case the recording date is after martin lamble died (may '69). (the other session's date is july '70)

  • Great song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That Damned King of the Fairies, Tam Lin. Rosin up your Bow and beware fair ladies.

  • @mothxal This is the John Peel session from 1969, with more of a live sound. The studio version, from Liege and Lief is at guFZkLxYM60
