  • CHEERS MATE,,,GREETINGS FROM THE LAND DOWN UNDER,,,GLAD YOU ENJOYED IT,,,ROB

  • Hey Rob, greetings from Canada. Thanks for the tune, I love it.

  • hi mate,,,thankyou for all that info i really appreciate it glad you enjoyed it,,,cheers rob

  • Nice job! Never heard Maple Sugar on the accordion before! Just a clarification to your notes. Maple Sugar was written, as you note, by Ward Allen. Allen was arguably one of the greatest Canadian fiddlers -- he died at 49. Maple Sugar, Allen's greatest tune, written in 1956, was the only pure fiddle tune to ever penetrate the Top 40 Pop Hits in the USA. Later, Hank LaRiviere (aka Hank Rivers) wrote the words to Maple Sugar Sweetheart (mostly the same tune but arranged different).

  • hey buddy,,,thankyou for your comment,,,it is appreciated cheers rob

  • Hi dude, I think it is amazing how you can hear a tune through your ears, convert them to your fingers so you can tickle the ivories, and then play a tune as fine as this to tickle the sensation in other peoples' ears.
