  • Obi Wan : ANAKIN ..chancelor PALPETINE IS EVIL

Anakin : From mi point of view the Jedi are Evil

Obi Wan : The you ARE Lost.

  • I AM DARTH VADER!

  • I have failed you, Anakin; I have failed you.

  • ....... Nedgasm

  • @MrEVILoLAZOR John Williams is the force itself. Only explanation.

  • I never though Colonel Sanders was such a good conducter.

  • Why didn't John Williams ascend to godhood yet?

  • I miss Star wars I wish they never stopped the Series the Cartoon Sucks balls. GEORGE LUCAS MAKE ANOTHER EPISODE OR THE DARK SIDE WILL TAKE US AND WE WILL BE FORCED TO DO ORDER 66 ON U!

  • you were cold because the amazing music sent shivers down your spine

  • John Williams is the only one who can make such epic music

    Thumbs up if you agree

  • @xbox644

There are more epic musics than this so yeah....no thumbs up. Sorry. :P

  • John Williams is THE CHOSEN ONE!!

  • I don't care what George Lucas said OUTSIDE Of the films, if it wasn't IN the film it doesn't count. Besides, all light and no dark is NOT balanced. Balance means the same on one side as the other.

And try to post without being insulting.

  • the force is VERY strong with this video

  • may the force be with you

  • 15 Star Trek fans disliked this video

  • It was said that you were supposed to destroy the sith, NOT JOIN THEM!

  • @Spartanll7x "Bring balance to the Force," which he did. They went from thousands of Jedi and two Sith to TWO Jedi and TWO Sith. That's balance. The Jedi were just too blind to realize they had the advantage.

  • @STNeish you are a sith lord arent you?

  • @STNeish ummm you are retarded for one reason in particular. George Lucas said Balance was no sith and only Jedi. That the light side of the force is the natural order of the force, which is why Anakin DOES BRING BALANCE. In the 6th movie, by killing Palpatine and returning to the light. Check your facts before you make comments lol

  • @STNeish The Force is balanced when there's no batshit punks to do evil shit with it. (these being the Sith) Think of it of a see-saw where the Sith is the dumb ADHD kid messing with the people playing in it and making them lose balance and fall.

  • @SigmaXVirus Good and evil are subjective terms. The Force doesn't define the terms, people do. The Sith might be considered the forces of Order and the Jedi the forces of Chaos (or entropy, change, or whatever you want to call it). If there's more of one than the other, there's a disbalance.

  • Did John Williams conduct this himself?

  • @ericyu2270 Yes he did!

  • Are there still performances going on like this?

  • @PJSmith08 He might have other concerts going on around the U.S. throughout the year, I'm not sure, but he has concerts every year at the end of the summer at Hollywood Bowl.

  • This is a fabulous piece of music.

Shame about the utter shit fest that is the source material. I think if this was in the original trilogy, it would be classed as one of the greatest cinematic pieces of all time.

  • @jimbobjimminy

I liked Revenge of the Sith :O

    Am i retarded?

  • John Williams Jedi Master!

  • Jhon Williams ....Maestro!

  • Sir, I envy you very much.

  • I've got the high ground!

  • My favorite part 1:28 that's epic !

  • Battle of the Heroes is a beautiful piece of music. Not only do I believe it is the greatest masterpiece of John Williams' carreer, but I think it is one of the most epic, awe-inspiring orchestral experiences period. I have seen this song conducted live, and I must say, it leaves you with a sense of pure awe and amazement. Bravo, John Williams, this is your best work.

  • John Williams: LEGEND

  • director looks like kernel sanders from kfc :)

  • By the look-like of john williams here,This should be played on a KFC when frying the chicken.

  • COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOlll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thank you for posting the actual thing instead of a bunch of orchestras TRYING to recreate john williams and his orchestra. its just not the same. it must have been incredible to be there live

  • John Williams is the best composer ever! Besides Beetoveen

  • John Williams is a Legend.

    nothing more to say^^

  • I have the utmost respect for John Williams, he is GOD of Film Scoring!

  • Just a monster of a theme. Can't get much more epic and stirring.

  • I still remember hearing this song for the first time in the theatre at a late-night showing of Episode III.

For the past thirty minutes or so it had been a detached boredom, and then this piece came on.

Immediately people jumped up and were alert at how engaging and monstrously EPIC this score is.

  • Is it me or does John WIlliams look like Colonel Sanders here?

  • @metalicass2003

Well , Mr. Willaims does deliver the goods.

  • You're not the only one. He really does look like Colonel Sanders. lol

  • @metalicass2003 It has a lot to do with his white suit!

  • This may be even an better version than the 'Battle of the Heroes' track on the soundtrack itself. As a movie music freak , I just love variation's of the same theme. Thanks so much for this.

  • This is even stronger then Duel of Fates. That was like Davinci code: cool and fast.

This is Shakespeare: Epic enormous and monstrous in it's beauty

  • John Williams is chosen one! : )

  • One of the best Movie Song in Film History...:)

  • I'm an underground Hiphop finatic but this music just comes from the heavens or something. I think this kind of music has more heart and passion than any other kind of music that exists. i love it.

  • 2:26 "This is the end for you my master..."

2:56 "It's over Anakin I have the high ground!"

  • actually..

this isn't the theme that plays during Anakin's and Obi-Wan's fight, although it sounds similar. Williams is known to foreshadow themes in his movie scores. Meaning, he will use parts of a major theme at the climax of the movie early on in the movie. So when you do hear the main theme, it's even more meaningful. It's a psychological tool that he does in many many films. The theme when Anakin and Obi-Wan fight is called Anakin vs Obi-Wan.

  • phenomenal

  • The master composer at work.

  • YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE!!!

  • "Irrrrr HATE YOU!!!!"

  • Did you know that John Williams has been nominated for 21 Golden Globes and 59 Grammys. With 45 Oscar nominations, Williams currently holds the record for the most Oscar nominations for a living person.

    WOW!!!

  • John Williams is incredible, he's my favortie composer, I like his scores so much I got his autograph!

  • YOU GOT HIS AUTOGRAPH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well i don't think I'll be lucky enough to get an autograph from him.

    P.S.He is my favorite too

  • oh, i'm sorry.

wait, no i'm not. the description clearly says: "If it's shaky, it's cause I was cold."

  • @ItalyCollector its called reading dumbass

  • this song is grate i liked it ever since i was five

  • by your spelling I'm gonna assume you haven't like it for to long

  • OMFG RAAAH this music is so good ! Best Movies's film ever !

  • Can't imagine Star Wars as what it is without John Williams.

  • play the Force Unleashed. they dont have him a composer which isnt the same...but the soundtrack does include snippets of his work in the game's score.

  • @revangal3 could it be called Star Wars?

  • i love this song

  • JOHN WILLIAMS *KREISCH* WAAAAAAAAHH dieser mann ist ein WUNDER...geile Musik!

  • John Williams is not dead he is alive and well at the rightfull old age of 77 and still going very strong.

  • whos best? betthoven or jhon w.?

  • john williams. beethoven was decent, but near the end he got shitty. Do you know how much williams has done from Star Wars to Jurrasic Park, Harry Potter. Seriously

  • :D damm!

  • Man if I become a movie director I'm and he's still alive and going to have him compose the score for my movies.

  • What John Williams are you talking about? The composer for the score for Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Superman, etc. is alive and currently 77 years old.

  • The one who made jurassic park music died

  • Can´t be, because there is only one movie score composer named John Williams. He made Star Wars, Superman, Jurassic park, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Hook, Jaws, E.T., Munich, and countless others classic movie scores. And he surely will compose the music for the next Spielber or Lucas project. As far as I know, a British comedian named John Williams died some years ago, but I don´t kow exactly wehn.

  • you are totally wrong,, you best be trollin'

  • no!!! It's the one who plays guitar who died

  • did they play anakin vs obi-wan?

  • yeah, this is it

  • :O that will be sooo epic to hear it live

  • no this is not anakin vs obi-wan. they're two different scores. but they'd both be cool to hear live.

  • no they're both the same song, the original song is called battle of the heroes, but people call it obi-wan vs. anakin (I THINK)

  • no they are different

ani v obi is more epic has a more pounding beggining to it

  • its seriously the same song, just one has a slower opening to get into the song.

  • no seriously no joke. before you say its the same song you should look it up. battle of the heroes is when they're floating down the lava river and anakin vs obi-wan is when anakin and obi-wan then yoda and palpatine start fighting. frustrated...

  • so whats the one before that called, the epic fast one with the trumpets

  • to see and hear it on live must be really great!

  • it's AMAZING

  • i bet

  • 0:36-3:19 is the best part.

  • Hans Zimmer and Jonh Williams ' os Melhores

  • this is my favorite star wars song. well, this and duel of the fates. but john williams is the best.

  • John williams rocks!!!!!! And so does star was in my opinion!

    :D

  • my high school orchestra is hopefully going to play this song!!!!!!!!!!! its so beautifully written and composed i love it to death!

  • yes but Williams is one of a very few to incorporate vocals into his songs as seen with most of the star wars songs. around 4o and 1:00 you can just feel the power of the vocals and the band. pure power and strength

  • Yes and he has written many very, very good songs in his whole live

  • John Williams is the greatest composer alive today.

    Pure epicness.

  • howard shore is pretty epic too.

  • And Jason Hayes.

  • few can get power and beauty into a song, but williams does it in every one

  • You can't forget about Hans Zimmer. =P

  • 2:06 was so Dark! and epic! :3

  • i agree with Tresfan John Williams is the greatest composer alive today

  • John Williams is the greatest composer alive today!!!

copy and past if you agree

  • this is amazin definetly adin to my favs

  • I love this. It's too bad not every Star Wars climax could have this music. Also I don't see this song as a duel of heroes but rather the fall of a great one (e.g. Anakin). Anyone else agree?

  • well said, i agree with you

  • You could also say it is a duel of each side's hero. Anakin eventually becoming the Dark Side's savior while Obi Wan goes on to train the savoir of the Jedi. ...maybe I read too much into things. :)

Arguments aside, its great to see that Williams can write music for a franchise 30 years in the making and still make it as fresh and exciting as it was begun.

  • Agreed, cause the Sith are not evil, they are just misunderstood.

  • best star wars record ever!! damn williams is good

  • goosebumps

  • Unbeleivable!

  • John Williams is the greatest composer alive today!!!

copy and past if you agree

  • Agree !!!! The BEST !!!!

    I love this song

  • John Williams is the best!!!!!!

  • whoa awesome!

  • John Williams has got to be one of the best composers ever.

  • John Williams is really amaizing !

He makes the best soundtrack in the world like : Harry Potter, Star Wars...

  • Great duel. Great music.

  • every time i hear this song i can't listen to it without closing my eyes and thinking about what good friends Obi-Wan and Anakin were before Revenge of the Sith

  • yea same man

  • unbelievable what he´ve done

  • Oh...I wish our band would play this song.

  • This song is pretty good

  • I goosebumps when I here this song always

  • i hear ya on that one,.

  • me too.. idk why thoughh .

  • nice to see the man do it

  • that song always gives me a chill in my face every time I hear it

  • thats a badass song

  • Wow, that's a little different, but cool.

  • there all great!! all the composers are great!!!

  • masterlijk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • John Williams and Mozart are both musical genuises hands down! They won't be forgotten!

  • That would be so cool to have a John Williams theme song just for yourself, you could be in your car driving down the streets blasting your music for everyone to know you are comming.

  • HAHA that would be awesome! John Williams rocks.

  • They should make a "John Williams Greatist Hits"

  • They could fill a music store with a collection that large.

  • one of the greats in the movie soundtrack world... my favorites are this song, raiders of the lost ark, star wars (of course), and the godfather teme

  • viola's rock!!!!!

  • Yes they do. they are very under-appreciated (this comes from a cellist)

  • wow

  • why is that douche brachioln complaining about beautiful music..they obviously have a talent which you obviously dont posess and you are looking for petty little problems that dont matter

  • John Williams is one of the greatest human beings who ever lived.

  • my school's symphony orchestra combines with band and/or chorus for our final concert..i would LOVE it if we did this song!!

and john williams is a genius.

  • SO DOES MINE.OMG.! lol no im serious

  • This is a masterpiece of a song, the tone fits the Final Battle of the movie perfectly...

  • the notes?

  • maybe they had not enough time to learn it

  • I love how my comments have received such low scores and are flagged... you people are so funny... And why wouldn't the choir have enough time to learn it. An Afternoon and they'd learn it lol You act like I'm insulting williams here... I'm not... I love him... its just strange that they ahve them fussing with the music so much. Go to any choir GOOD concert and they don't use music

  • Since when does a choir need to have good memory to sing good? Hell, i don't care if they need music, if they sound good they're a good choir. right?

  • its distracting them from the true essence of the music and the audience from it as well to be watching them flipping pages when honestly, they could, if need be, put everything tehy sand onto a single page. I'm just saying that as a performer, and not just an artist, you have to learn to do the things that LOOK good too. Yes they sound alright, but they could have upped it a notch for this because it is such a simple piece.

  • This choir only had to sing this song twice. And the song probably has key and time signature changes. There's no point in them rushing to memorize a piece; it's not like they're competing or anything.

  • oh it has constant time changes and lots of accidentals including I think a key change. but it modulates back I believe.

  • it changes from 3/2 to 3/4 to 3/2 to 2/2, and back to 3/2

  • @greenTleaf they should at least memorize the epicness :D

  • @Cryuss90 LOL, true, but maybe he didn't want them to slip and fuck up his masterpiece

  • @greenTleaf indeed... no arguement there

  • Do you now? Perhaps you'll enlighten me and tell me the Key Signature, Time Signature and the notes in bar 55. I'll have you know, being a part of a choir myself, that the folders are more for show than to look off of. In my choir we use the folders for that reason. Also, if you look at the chorus people, they're looking at the conductor (John Williams) the whole time.

  • Why do you have to bag on the greatest musical conductors of all time? Why dont you go pick on your own band if you have one.lol!

  • Who is it you are adressing exactly? I'll agree with you John Williams is amazing, he's my idol, one of my inspirations when writing music and conducting. I do have to pick on my own band when I'm conducting, because they're not always right. (Please note, I'm only saying this if your comment was adressed to me, as recieved an email saying it was.)

  • I am adressing you. What is the name of your band?

  • Well, I don't know where you are so it's doubtful you'd know because it's a high school concert band. I'm only 18 mind you, but I can still conduct well. And I've got about 100 pieces of music to my name, of which I will not disclose.

  • Oh, and I wasn't "Bagging on him" I love that man. Though there are better.

  • Such as whom?
