    i hope that helps you.

  • oh thanks for that! :-)

  • I freakin love birds! All we have around where I live are crows though and Im terrified of them.

  • crows do look quite scary in all that black.

it's a shame that you don't have much variety in birds, but i guess there are other types there but maybe they are shy so u don't see them so much.

colourful birds certainly are cheering :-)

  • nice and long time no see

  • thanks, yeah iv been busy recently

  • k.kool:)

  • Yw)

  • Gorgeous! Every morning in Oz I'd get up at 5am to watch all the beautiful birds. Thanks = )

  • :-) i think they're beautiful, but i guess i take it for granted... i like to sleep in too much!

  • i wish i lived in a country with such spectacular birds! i bet you flora is as striking as your fauna.

  • im sure u have spectacular birds as well, but i guess these are different from what you see normally.

but australia does have a lot of unusual flora and fauna. :-) some pretty weird flower - have u seen "the Bottle-Brush tree"?? they probably have pics of it on google or wikipedia

  • that is very much like a bottle brush isn't it? very red!!

  • yeah :-) we have a tree in our garden but it isn't growing very well. but there is a huge tree down our street that is full of bottlebrush flowers, very pretty :-)

  • They grow bottlebrush trees here in America (we've got one), but I think they come from Oz originally. Hummingbirds love them.

Oz has some beautiful birds alright. They make America's seem downright boring.

  • yeah Oz does have some beautiful birds :-) but im not sure if we have hummingbirds... i don't know. if we do, i haven't seen any. but maybe up in tropical queensland.

  • haha ok thanks :-)
