I think the judges score based on the individuals improvement and capabilities. If they were judging against the other dancers, would that be fair? 60yo overweight kirstie with ZERO dancing background, against 22yo 100lb chelsea who is a dancer? How would that be fair? Bottom line? She is 60! ten years older than my mother, (and I am in my 20s) and working hard. She puts on a great show (on and off the dance floor) and she has mad the asshole, who people love to hate, likable, funny, and sweet.
She'll win because she has talent, a personality, and great chemistry with Maks, not b/c she sucks. Dancing isn't just about moving your feet, you have to remember to have FUN! Kirstie does that every week. She entertains America and has a huge fan base. GOO KIRSTIEE

Kirstie does look great and she admits herself that it has helped her lose weight. She and Maks make a good dancing team. It's good to see some actual dancing once in awhile instead of the jiggling that Kendra is good at. She belongs in a burlesque show. - Paula
Maks Samba with Brandy last season was much better. It was more complex, the foot movement more intricate and just a better dance. It had more depth like they had been dancing a long time. This samba included many dance moves from their earlier dances this season and looked like I was just seeing a repeat performance -- not much new. They must judge individually according to what the person can do. The scores were definitely too high for them. i like Kirstie but they're really too generous
@BonbondeParis It does not look to me as if she's clutching herself - more of trying to keep her hands from shaking I would think. She is out of breath and does wonderfully here. I think the judges were very fair. Kirstie and Maks did a great job with the Samba - and that's the way it should be done, not in the way some others have put a lot of acrobats into it. Men that go with women that age are usually gigolos and do it for money. Rarely love. That's sick. He calls her momma. Duh. And did you see the sick expression on his face on Access Hollywood when he was asked if he like older women? Clearly, he's disgusted by the idea. They're just dancing.
They were in NYC and at Maks' Dance With Me Soho Studio to practice. Maks looked lik Dr. Maks giving Kirstie advice, as she layed there on his lap. So cute. Meanwhile, they were absolutely wonderful and I didn't see anything wrong with their performance. Maks & Kirstie nailed the Samba the way the Judges liked, but it's too bad that the scores couldn't have been a 'touch higher'.
She puts forth all of her effort every single week and I hope she makes it to finals!
I also LOVE Bruno's comments because he always feels the need to stand up! Lol.
I hope that Kelly Preston's appearances in the audience to support her bff every week is foreshadowing her becoming a future cast member of DWTS! LOVE her!

@misstizi Kendra has a mean booty shake, but Kirstie had better overall Samba technique and executed more element of the dance (to a slower/harder song to Samba to). Besides, she only scored one point higher and Kendra put forth her best dance yet. Great job by both last night.
im totally in love with their chemistry, its no other, not even when Maks was with Brandy: well they were more like friends who share feelings and hardships; with mel: well very similar to Kirstie, but i think he has the most fun and greatest partnership with Kirstie

Kirstie does look great and she admits herself that it has helped her lose weight. She and Maks make a good dancing team. It's good to see some actual dancing once in awhile instead of the jiggling that Kendra is good at. She belongs in a burlesque show. - Paula

Maks Samba with Brandy last season was much better. It was more complex, the foot movement more intricate and just a better dance. It had more depth like they had been dancing a long time. This samba included many dance moves from their earlier dances this season and looked like I was just seeing a repeat performance -- not much new. They must judge individually according to what the person can do. The scores were definitely too high for them. i like Kirstie but they're really too generous

@BonbondeParis It does not look to me as if she's clutching herself - more of trying to keep her hands from shaking I would think. She is out of breath and does wonderfully here. I think the judges were very fair. Kirstie and Maks did a great job with the Samba - and that's the way it should be done, not in the way some others have put a lot of acrobats into it. They were dancing - dancing - and that's the name of the game. They make a great team - when dancing age should not matter. - Paula

They were in NYC and at Maks' Dance With Me Soho Studio to practice. Maks looked lik Dr. Maks giving Kirstie advice, as she layed there on his lap. So cute. Meanwhile, they were absolutely wonderful and I didn't see anything wrong with their performance. Maks & Kirstie nailed the Samba the way the Judges liked, but it's too bad that the scores couldn't have been a 'touch higher'.

I freakin' LOVE her Kirstie Alley!
She puts forth all of her effort every single week and I hope she makes it to finals!
I also LOVE Bruno's comments because he always feels the need to stand up! Lol.
I hope that Kelly Preston's appearances in the audience to support her bff every week is foreshadowing her becoming a future cast member of DWTS! LOVE her!

@parabreed Maybe...I've been thinkin' Kirstie was the one to leave the show for the last two weeks, but da ppl's votes combines with the judges scores, keeps her on. I think Ralph & Jericho may be in the bottom as well, their performances weren't that intense as their previous performances

ohh come on this could never be compared to kendra routine .. how could they have two 9`s while kendra got only 1. kirstie is swt and can dance but she looks stiff when compared to kendra. do you agree?

@misstizi Kendra has a mean booty shake, but Kirstie had better overall Samba technique and executed more element of the dance (to a slower/harder song to Samba to). Besides, she only scored one point higher and Kendra put forth her best dance yet. Great job by both last night.

im totally in love with their chemistry, its no other, not even when Maks was with Brandy: well they were more like friends who share feelings and hardships; with mel: well very similar to Kirstie, but i think he has the most fun and greatest partnership with Kirstie

@ferrytrailershipper Yeah, I think Kirstie really brings out that side of Maks that we've not really seen. Mel B was fun and hilarious too, but this season Maks has let loose so much more.
The butt grab, haha, poor Tom! It's grown into a DWTS tradition now.
I'm not a fan of pairing this song with the samba, personally, but I loved how they performed it.
