  • riding was good. but you tack your horse with no feeling.... at all.

  • @huckleberry665 did you consider she may have lapsed it...?

  • @Kaylagirl1238 sorry i dont understand your question, cant you please re phrase it ?

  • @huckleberry665 okay lasping a video is vutting it and then moving it foward in time so you may not have seen on video her feeding him but she may have vut that out to save time hence lapsing it

  • @Kaylagirl1238 ahh . okay ahaha. yea your probably right ! sorry ! :)

  • You rode well. Although the foreward seat is not my cup of tea incase of a refusal or a buck however I think you handled yourself very well. It looks as if your horse can get a little strong over fences (2:20 ish) which causes you to ride a little more agressive although as soon as the horse softens, you soften. This is nice to see.

  • It shocks me how fast people point out what they think is wrong. As a trainer I have to say that no one teaches the same! And for a hunter rider that was a very nice ride on a very nice horse! And I always get on from a mounting block because it is easier on the horses back. If you mount from the ground wrong you can hurt your horses back. And yes in hunters they want to see you ride with a more forward seat just like she was doing! Great job!! keep up the good work!!

  • What kind of helmet do you have?

  • Lush horse x

  • You riding is great and I love your horse!!

  • she is doing a half seat so she is suppose to lean alittle forward. You know like a two point.

  • Faxjx500 probably cuz its easier on the horses back to mount from a mounting block

  • she leans forward to much when she rides, i have been riding since i was 3 and i have always been told to lean back more! x

  • @Mysmiley111 im assuming shes doing hunter jumpers, and in hunters u r supposed to ride with a more foward seat, and she was doing half seart, which is inbetween a 2point and normal seat

  • nicest horse but why did you use a mounting block? the horse isnt that big =/

  • Some people have a hard time mounting from the ground. Its less pressure on the horses back if you use a mounting block, so I have been told anyways.

  • its true, i always use one, it makes it easier on thier back and your legs

  • Nice. ^^

  • OMG I LOVE HIS TROT!!!!!!!! Ur horse is gorgeous

  • wow! ur a great rider!! it looks like ur horse has really nice gaits. gorguz horsee btw!! x

  • Yourr A Good Rider!

English Style Is The Best (Y)

    Lol

  • your a nice rider!

Sorry! I accidently rated the video 2 stars! :S Can you fix it (SOMEONE) with a five?

  • i rated it fur u. i did a five fur me and you. but its together. but thats ok.

    and u r a nice rider. =]

  • LOL thanks for rating 5 =)

haha who were you talking about when you said 'u r a nice rider.' ??

  • hopes up for what? i am getting horses

  • great movement i love horses and i cant wait to get my own i love horses. you know how to ride horses very good vid........

  • ya ive wanted one since i was 2 and ive been riding for 10 yrs now. i wouldnt get ur hopes up:(

  • Nice vid.. :) Looks like you do things well. (I see a helmet, Riding instructor, snaffle bit, tack correct, heels down and care for your horse after lesson)

  • Your a great rider

  • don't listen to people who critize i personaly think you ride great. and i like how you mount and dismount it dosn't matter what other people say

  • Your a nice rider and I like your horses movement. I actually do like the way you mount and dismount because you aren't hanging from one side you are trying to balance your weight.

  • your horse has really good movement!

  • wtf who cares what side you mount on.

its nottt gonna kill the horse if you mount on the right.

but she mounted on the left, so w/e.

nice rider. i really like your horsee

  • oh and bring your shoulders back...;P but other wise very good

  • her position is wrong... even for showjumping your supposed to stay in 3 point position and she should bring her hands back a bit.. and i dont like the way she mounted her horse... but nice horse and good riding anyway. (i train with a silver medalist olympian)

  • No one cares who you train with. You've never ridden this horse and maybe she has to ride like that control her horse. I've ridden some horses where I can't release over the jump because they'll bolt when they land. She's a good rider. People who go on youtube to criticize other's riding really need to get a life.

  • Well mabye your sliver medalist olympain trainer could fill you in that its not a 3 point positition its a 2 point.

  • You look really great would love to see more videos.

  • That is not how you are suppose to put on a halter

  • you can put a halter on like that i do it that way. i find it easier and to be honest safer. come halter's cant open that way. so idk if thats what ur thinking of.

  • OMG!! i was thinking your horse looked like mine; his name is trigger and when i saw the name i had to laugh! lol awesome video

  • ur a rlly good rider!! wat type of horse is urs?? check out my tb mare!!

  • i always ride in jeans.

sometimes in shorts [[ not smart i know ]]

  • Great video!

  • when you put there halter on your supposed to bend their ears forward and slip the halter on

  • Hi there...

Nice video... have added this to our playlist. ;-)

  • you sit du must bend forword .., sit more strage up!:)

  • really good! just keep your elbows in at your sides. you deffinatley know how to keep your heels down! most people think its wrong to ride in jeans and chaps but i do it all the time! what do the rest of you think?

  • i always ride in jeans and chaps , dont see anything wrong with it

in summer i ride with 3/4 length jeans and no shoes on

its up to the rider what they wear , their risk =]

    u agree?

  • i totally agree

i always wear jeans or shorts and skate boarding shoes.

your prolly gunna b like wht is she talking about since u posted the comment 3 months ago but still...

    i figured i would reply.

    =]

  • lol i actually remembered posting that comment =P lol

i really like ur leg position ..how do u keep ur leg so still ??

  • does anyone know the name of the song?????

  • It's called, "State of Everyday Madness" by Shockshadow. :)

  • does anyone know the name of the song?????

  • why do you use this bit?i don't like to see this so.sorry

do you know horsemanship you could learn from it.

  • You are a really good rider! Um one thing is you lean forward a little in your canter. I know it is probably hard because it looks like your horse pulls the bit a little! I rode a horse that as soon as he sees a jump or pole or course he takes off and there is absoloutly nothing you can do about it! His name is Smudge and he is an Old Style Quarter Horse gelding.

  • you look like a really good rider! i don't ride much english.. but i'm working on it.. i used to take English lessons when i started to ride but then switched over to western. now i'm getting into jumping.

  • gd job u look realli gd...u look lke u ave a strong bond wit trigger.....is he urs tho?? x

  • really nice! your horse is an amazing mover! i love his trot!!

  • dein problem ist du lehnst dich pemanent nach vorne das kan zu abwürfen führen

  • Your stirrup should be more on the ball of your foot. It is on your toes. It feels nice on the flat and it's easier to keep your heels down with it, but when jumping, it makes it a lot easier to lose a stirrup, especially if Trigger is trying to take a jump earlier. Your leg looks nice on the flat and o/f. You seem to drive with your seat and hands, when you could maybe use some dull spurs or a small bat or more consistent leg if you are having problems keeping him at the canter.

  • I have a horse named Trigger too! lol

  • Lol when you put the things on his legs he looks down as if to say "what do you think you are doing!" Lol my horse does that too! trigger is gorgueus! (if thats howw you spell it?)

  • Oh my gosh! You mounted on the wrong side!

    JK, lol.

Great vid, and cute horse! Keep it up!

  • Anyone who is saying she mounted on the incorrect side your wrong. Trigger is a gorgeous horse. His coat it great. I also like how you asked him for a response when he tried to grab the bit after the jumps. Good job a good video!!

  • I completely agree with you! she mounted on the correct side! And I think she's a great rider, and does a really good job-great video!

  • lol, i remeber when i commented this a long time ago (like a year ago). i still like it. good job

  • Awesome!! ^ ^

  • hello she did mony on the left and she didn't cheack the girth and she is sitting up to far in the saddle

  • omg, guys, are you blind?

    she mounted on the LEFT.

    thats correct.

dang, do you freaks need to do the L thing like 5 yr olds?

*girl, your an awesome rider, and horse lover, these kids probably dont even know how to put a halter on a horse.*

    happy trails everyone!

    <33 Gio. :)

  • that was amazing!!!!<3

  • is dressage considered english or is it dressage?

english right? haha... I know absoulty nothing about dressage...

  • coolio video how long hve u been riding. sumtimes n my stables while tryin to put on the bridles the ponies and all neva open there ouths

  • You're a good rider! I wanna ride just like you!

  • it hought you were a dressage rider? then you could ride better than this! mrs expert Rollkur anty Hater!

  • When did I say I was a dressage rider? And when did I say I could ride better?! AND I LOVE ANKY'S WORK!

  • woops! wrong person, sorry

  • Oh ok, I just thought you were accusing me of lying. That's ok ;)

  • Ok... so I was reading comments

    she mounted on the left

the two point is the top of your post.. not jumping position

she put the halter on fine

and she didn't force the bridle in the horses mouth... maybe the horse was pushing down, sometimes horses do that... shes got to get the bridle on some how..

and people have different ways of doing things but that doesn't mean their wrong...

  • ooo i like ur saddle shinny!!!! luved the vid!!!

  • u did jus fine...great video btw

  • That is a weried bit???

  • ur supposed to mount left smartee.

  • WTF!!! SHE MOUNTED RIGHT.. Jelous retards

  • no she dint she mounted left look more closeley ....

  • She mounted from the left, she is fine. leave her alone

  • you need to give with your hands more and sit back much more, also yeah, thats not how you mount!!

  • That isn't how you get on a horse

  • the day and life of a spoiled brat is what it should be called, when you halter a horse you don't stand in front of them, duhh it is called a blind spot. If it takes that much effort to get the bridle on it is to tight. Follow the horse more with your seat. Pulling on the horses mouth to much.

  • shut up. she is a good rider and the horse didnt seem to mind the bridle or the halter. if he didnt like either, he would some how show her that. mind ur own business.

  • Hey, I don't see u riding any better, u don't have any videos of u so how ate we supposed believe that u know what ir talking about. next time be nice, or shut up

  • You need to lean back ALOT more when you ride.

Beautiful horse though and cool vid

    x

  • what type of saddle do you have?

  • i love your horse. what breed is he? xx

  • hey good video.. u have a really nice horse, and ur a great rider.. i wish i could jump like that.. the highest I've gone is 2'6'' so I'm trying to get that good but i dunno..... anyway great video and good luck in the future.

    -Maddy Bodden

  • What is this song called?

  • you have really really really good heels and leg posture but you might want to try and lean back when your coming to a jump to slow him down, it looks like your pulling on his mouth too much, hes just going to pull back, but you look really good otherwise :)

  • Ur horse is really cute!!! At the stables that I ride at there is a very similar horse named Romeo. He's a real cutie ( both of them) =-)

  • i like your horse alot!! he looks like my horse. what breed is he?? well anyway nice vid.

  • whats this song called?

  • aww very cute horse ;)

  • cwabaa what are you talking about? yeah you bend over the horses neck but you don't break your thumbs.

    -lainey wood

  • is it just me or do u lean on the horses neck as u jump? if u do you might end up breaking ur thumbs.

  • NICE HORSE AND VIDEO! I LOVE IT!

  • Your horse has a REALLY PRETTY "Daisy Cutter" stride!

    -LaInEy :)

  • Is he your horse? he's beautiful and a really great jumper. He actually looks a lot like my horse. like a lot.

  • No mucking out? :P Great video though, and beautiful horse =]

  • youre a good jumper :]

  • guys have you ever heard of 2 point postion!!!!!

its before you go into the jump!

you are supposed to do that in a show jumping round!

and there are so many different ways of doing things!

    stop criticizing!

you guys must do things different to other riders!

    get the fuck over yourselfs!

    that was a great video!

  • it looks like you live in canada. do you? and how long have you been riding for?

  • yall need to respect that she takes care of her horse and that its healthy. WE ALL DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY. thats her way, respect it. you take care of your horse, she'll take care of hers.

  • ur horse is very pretty! what breed is he?

but i agree with the ppl below about ur riding. u have a very nice leg but you should lossen ur hips up more to move with the horse and also lean back, i'm a hunter/jumper rider and u should practice rolling your hips and sitting back more at home and then at the show you should go into your position

  • Pirouette....It depends on what dicipline your riding. In the hunter ring you want to be somewhat more forward. Though, she seems a bit too far forward in the video.....I love your half halt before the fences. You can tell your horse is rearing to go

  • you have a pretty horse. Dont forse the briddle on like that and dont move the saddle and the saddle pad up like that...you should put the saddle pad on and move it were you want it then put the saddle on. You need to have a better stance and not lean foward when youre ridding. But other then that you were OK.

  • I think it's a really cool video... but one question, I ride dressage mostly so maybe it's different but you learn forward a lot at the trot and a bit at the canter, I don't know what you do, so yea just wondering if it's normal to have your shoulders in the front so much?

    Other than that great vid

  • you shouldn't force the bridle onto the horse, and also shouldn't slide the saddle and saddle pad forward, always start high and slide backwards so that way the hair is flat. but other than that good job.

  • that horse is gorgeous, i bet hes tons of fun to ride

  • You do not know how to put a halter on correctly.

  • "You do not know how to put a halter on correctly."

Actually, that's just another way to put on a halter. Sliding it over the ears and then hooking the side buckle is a way that many people put on halters. It's not wrong, just different.

  • thats how i learned to put a halter on. some halters just unbuckle but some unclip

  • horses are the best!!! this is a sweet video, you seem like a good pair.

  • I wear jeans with half chaps all the time

  • why did you wear jeans when you were riding?

  • lol ill give it 5 STARS and and and ill adin it to my fave GREAT JOB!!

    =^__^=

oh i ride english too and i have horse named cody hes a grey trakehner hes my "stud muffin" lol

    great video! :)

  • Hey, I prefer English over western but I am sticking up for my past, (I used to show western.) It has a purpose. You can show western pleasure just like english pleasure. And if it weren't for western riders, we wouldn't havbe the horses from the range that we love. I have never heard of an english rider ropng a mustang? Have you?! NOPE! If you like english more that is fine (I like it too) but leep that to yourself or if you say it, say it in a nice way!

  • I like western style better,...... =[ Waaaaaaa. LOL!

  • western sucks

  • No it doesn't.

  • yes it does western is too easy

  • No it's not.

  • then y do some ppl start with western then english? western no longer has any purpose other than showing stock breeds aand gymkhana and barrel racing and stuff

  • people start out western because western saddles are bigger and roomier and easier to keep your balance in than a hunt for beginner riders, also broke western horses are trained to jog which is a more comforting gate for a beginner than a hunt trot.

western requires a lot of body control for a consistent performance C=

  • exactly western saddles are easier to balance in

  • So true, So true.. That is what we all go through everytime we get ready to ride.. HAHA.. Love the video Love the horse... You looked great. What kinda horse is that?? How tall?

  • is that ur horse??? great video...ur a good rider

  • BEAUTIFUL

  • ur horses trot is so smooth!

  • i just love this videooooo i love your hells!

    -giovanna

    i commented you twice xD

  • You are a graet rider! keep up the good work!

  • Very pretty!!! Your arms seem a little stiff, but maybe he's just pulling? You never know XD. But if he wasn't pulling, it may look nicer if there was a bit more flow. But i have no idea what your horse is like!!! Just an observation. But such pretty form over jumps!!! Woo *ding*

  • Wow, you are very very good.

My pony would die if I bathed her like that and she bucks and rears at the mounting block. : ) super

  • Your horse is beautiful and you're a really good rider! :D

  • Your horse is stunning! And looks so happy to be worked!

Wish my horse would stand still when being hosed down ^_^
