@demsterwoldelf i will send you the only post i can find ,it is sort of a rick roll ,but thats just the end ,its moving imagary with no sound from production then the rick roll bit comes in,but it still gives good sneak peak at the dwarfs costumes and stuff.yeah i do think they should have done the hobbit years ago ,but i guess they wanted the revenue from the 3 movies and guage the reaction aswell to justify the hobbit ,,cos more people will go and see it if they think its more about the ring

@matrags ....it is the hobbit lol where did you think the story came from. the entire LOTR trilogy is based on saxon mythology, thats from the mouth of tolkien himself

@TheBrradsullivan Well friend, Being "based upon" something implies the story or something very similar already exists in a previous form. To my knowledge it does not. The imagery and themes contained there in may allude to Anglo-Saxon ideas (which I believe is what Tolkien actually referred to) however the story's themselves are original works and are therefore neither "based upon" nor Anglo-Saxon mythology in their own right as you stated in your original comment.
