Been thru the worst and the best to the worst since 78.not impressed with anything Ronson has done. cuz a producer of the day is doing his faveband,i bet we get Madazzaland 2.DD needs some1 who is not a fan,who will tell them what will & wont work.DDs best r Rio & Astronaut. Red Carpet crap.the LP made B4 Andy left should have next.Oh no we got Justin&Timbaland on Red Carpet, how can it POSSIBLY fail? Justin & Timba gave DD crap that they didnt want.so some naff club kids said get Ronson

Honestly, I've heard nothing yet of Ronson's collaboration with Duran which impresses me. Perhaps their album will be better, but so far... A View to a Kill is a fantastic song live - honestly, much better than the studio recording - but they muss it up with this opening. Luckily, during their most recent show, they went back to the traditional interpretation.

@WinterStream would that someone be female a little on the heavy side, about 40, who suddenly turned 14 & truly believed it was 1984, did not stop screaming in a shrill piercing voice, so you couldn't hear one note of the show? I know those kind .i hate female Duran Duran fans, ( hate is a strong word, couldn't think of a stronger one) they ruin every one DD show (12). 40 yrs old acting as if they are Jonas Bros. They dont listen 2 DD. just scream. Yea Ima bitter old man, paid big bucks 2 be.

I saw duran duran at edinburgh 2 days before this. it was the same set list and format.

A view to a kill was the highlight. if you had heard this vocal live you would understand why. the hair on my neck stood up. without doubt, duran duran and in particular le bon, have to be one of the best live bands in the world. 11/10 for duran duran

They nailed nothing! The Durans were pretty good, but for unbeatable, breathtaking music Groove Armada conquered all on the Sunday!

(Actually, this IS pretty impressive watching it again though!)

I know i will catch hell for this, but this mark ronson sucks. I love duran duran, but the collaborations lately haven't been that good to me. Timbaland and Justin Timberlake...yuck..now this person that wants to make their songs orchestral...why? I sure hope their new album isn't like that or it will flop...like their last few have.

Its not a collaboration with a pop artist, Mark Ronson is a producer with a wealth of knowledge across many genres with particularly good taste and reverence for the period from which the music came. At the very least its going to be interesting

@vagrantblues the timbaland produced album was a marketing ploy which backfired.not on duran but the record company and left a sour taste in the fans mouth.the only single released was falling down.

why wasnt skin divers released and marketed at the rn b crowd..

Mark Ronson is a young and prominent UK producer who is producing the new Duran Duran album. Been a fan since he was a kid so must have been great to close a festival with them.
