Im a chinese and i remembered this once at a relative's wedding, I was served sharks' fin soup. I was so disgusted by how the people around me were so excited when they were served the soup, they were waiting for it. And they told me, "hey eat it! its sharks' fin! even if you're full, you gotta eat it!" I shot them a disgusted glance, while they ate two or three bowls of it. I told them it is people like them that caused shark extinction, walked out of the dinner, and im proud of myself!

I whent to florida there is a place in I think it is key largo that you can go scuba diving and there are were like three sharks there that day it was crazy because they said that it was rare I got to kiss a shark lol they are tight it was a wonderful expirience I would really recomend it

If we can put a Killer Whale(who is the top preditor, they even eat sharks) into a tank and swim with them(like seaworld)why can't we try to understand sharks? When watching this documentary- one thing that really stood out to me was the look of pain in the sharks eye as it's fins were being cut off it while it remained alive and aware of what was happening. It is one of the saddest things I've ever seen and the worst part is that this movie is just barely scratching the surface of the terrible things human beings do to animals, let alone the terrible things we are capable of doing to other people for that matter.

When watching this documentary- one thing that really stood out to me was the look of pain in the sharks eye as it's fins were being cut off it while it remained alive and aware of what was happening. It is one of the saddest things I've ever seen and the worst part is that this movie is just barely scratching the surface of the terrible things human beings do to animals, let alone the terrible things we are capable of doing to other people for that matter.

I saw shark water. If you live in Canada, and you are in elementary school or junior high, you might know about "concour d'art oratoire". It is a french presentation that goes nation wide. this guy is absolutely amazing... its so cool how he can pet the shark under its snout or whatever and hes not afraid of them so he can touch them and shit. it kinda sucks because like shark fin soup doesnt even have actual shark fin in it, its just the broth. so they kill the entire shark just for the water boiled around it... hopefully it'll end soon and they dont die off :(
