Such a beautiful dramatic ending with the whistling, synths and guitar, they all blend together to make such an emotional sound, I prefer this to the original, it's modern yet retro, great band with a unique lead singer.

This is probably blasphemy on some level, but wonderful as John Lennon's original is, - I prefer this version. Probably because Roxy were sincere in their admiration of the late, great man when they released it. Whatever, I always thought, [and still think] this is delicious.

@brianartillery Agreed, not blasphemous. I like the original but prefer the Roxy version too. I'm not a big fan of the sax but in this version its great. Roxy version is really soulful and moving. Wheareas Lennon is somehow hauntingly beautiful. (I don't know if its just me but I find Lennon's solo stuff almost too direct and in a way difficult to listen too often as its so sad).
