Part of what makes John an exceptional talent is his gift for understatement. He's just as strong strumming a basic melodic rhythm in singer/songwriter mode as he is playing complex electric guitar stuff with FX. Clearly, a guy who knows how to "play for the song" who can tear it when needed but never feels like he has to feed the ego. Great stuff!

I hope Porcupine Tree comes to Hawaii in 2012. Flew from Hawaii to the Warfield for the last two tours. Lovd it and wlll worth the flights. I liked Karnivool too. Love you music!
