I know there is serious corruption in the United Nations mostly with politicians who bribe members in the UN to favor their agendas and personal goals especially with the muslims who use the Arab leagues influence with oil money to buy out the integrity of the representatives of the UN. Let me just mention a few outstanding achievements for women since Islamic revolution of 1979: 1)not having the right to divorce,2) not having custodiy right, 3) not having the right to object to their husbands marrying up to 4 wives, 4) death sentence for infedility, 5) can't become judges, 6) entitled to half inhertince compated to their male siblings, 7) two women's testimony equal to one man's testimony, and finally can't choose how to dress; forced hejab. So lucky and don't even know it!!!

I truly do hope the status of woman (and gay and lesbian for that matter) in Iran, and other countries will improve greatly. Nevertheless, this is a very very sad joke, to place Iran at this position, while constant images of human (woman in particular) right violation keep on coming to our awareness.
Further, I think that the UN Human Rights Council is, and has been for quite a while, a very sad joke; when seeing which dreadful dictatorships attend it, and the silly "condemnations" they make.
