Always thought this was one of the coolest moments for the animated Snake-Eyes and when I first saw it when I was 11, I honestly thought they were killing him off. Oh me of little faith in the greatest of the Joes.

This has to be the most romantic and emotional scene in the entire animated series, and the only time that Snake Eyes and Scarlett's romance in the comics was referenced in the cartoon, albiet briefly. The part where Scarlett breaks into tears when Snake Eyes sacrifies himself for the othes, and then puts her hand over his hand as they're separated by the plexiglass wall is beautiful!
Top that one Duke! :P
