@TheProlific1980 The reason Iginla (usually) takes his helmet off is because you get an extra 2 minutes for starting a fight with a visor on (see rule 47.6 on unsportsmanlike conduct). I learned this from watching Iginla start a fight with Adam Foote where he did not do this. As much as I hate Hatcher and the Red Wings, I'd have to say Iginla not only deserves 2 extra minutes in this case, but he also took a cheap shot when Hatcher was down, so he probably deserves some retaliation.
@TheProlific1980 There are a few errors in your statement. First, Iginla doesn't ALWAYS take off his helmet. I saw him not do so against Adam Foote once and I doubt that is the only time. @TheProlific1980 The reason Iginla (usually) takes his helmet off is because you get an extra 2 minutes for starting a fight with a visor on (see rule 47.6 on unsportsmanlike conduct). I learned this from watching Iginla start a fight with Adam Foote where he did not do this. As much as I hate Hatcher and the Red Wings, I'd have to say Iginla not only deserves 2 extra minutes in this case, but he also took a cheap shot when Hatcher was down, so he probably deserves some retaliation.

@TheProlific1980 There are a few errors in your statement. First, Iginla doesn't ALWAYS take off his helmet. I saw him not do so against Adam Foote once and I doubt that is the only time. I would avoid using absolute statements. Second, you are using the possessive form "your" when you really mean to say "you are" and use the contraction "you're." Third, there is no reason to swear at people.

You do realize the visor is used by many skaters to protect their face from the puck that can travel up to a hundred and twenty miles an hour... you would do more damage to your fist before you break the visor.
