My father passed this past New Years.. I have been having a hard time getting in touch with this, I know we could have been closer, and I was pushing for him to get his health in check (I told my mom this would happen), but I seemed to be rocking the boat, when my intentions were good..
Your honesty was very heart warming, and brings me back to the day. Thank you for this, for helping me re-visit that part of me, that time.. Your dad raised a good son, if I may say so!
hey, good luck in this project! i'm certainly not qualified to speak on his behalf, but i understand that richard blackman of fruitarian fitness recently did a juicing experiment where he gained musclemass with OJ and not much (perhaps nothing) else. if you do heavy workouts that make your muscles demand growth, it should happen.
certainly happens for me, although i'm more of a whole fruits and lettuce kind of guy. when people throw the P-word at me, it's always fun to point out that i weigh
more now than i did before i went raw, have a lower bodyfat percentage, and can move much heavier weight than i could back then, all on less than 50 grams per day--but hey, who's counting?
if you're interesting i can link you to a study from the world health organization all about this that may come in handy for you.
also, thank you for sharing that story about your dad. it was very moving.
Thank you so much. Though I didn't get profound muscle mass results, the workouts really helped. And it was effective to know that I was able to work out on juices. Thank you also for the information. Have a great weekend.
I'd love that link! I really want to juice feast but am worried about the price (and the effort as sad as that is) think I can buy jugs of juice and add green powder and msm and what not?
Wow. You made me cry Paul. Touching. This inspires me to go further. I will plan on a juice feast in a few weeks. I must go further and control myself. Even raw, I have been overeating and stress eating. My moms side is morbidly obese. A reunion slapped me in the face to WAKE UP! Thanks for this video.
Touching video. It has inspired me to become healthier. I'm 22 but have abused my body all my life. I feel lucky that I have found so much information so early in my life (I wish I had found it earlier though). I am really looking forward to the second part of this documentary.
I can totally relate to you on the grandfather/father issue my grandfather passed away before I was born (at 45) my father passed away last year (at 55) before his first grandchild was born (although she was on the way)I started this raw food lifestyle so that I can see my grandchildren and live past 65.
That was a very touching and personal video. Thank you for sharing that with us. I thought you were doing some vood doo at the end when you started blowing the camera. :) Looking forward to seeing the next part of your documentary!

That was one of the most touching moments I've ever seen, Paul...made me cry.
You completely illustrated your point.
I get it...
