1) That's a 3/4 release. Don't do that unless you seriously can't throw normally. Only a few NFL QBs make it with a 3/4 Release (Kolb, Rivers)

When I hold the ball with one hand I aim with the other. I hold the other in front of me and make a V with my index finger and middle finger... like a peace sign. I place the person between the V and throw. If they are further away I raise my V to compensate for distance, like a rifle. If I miss my target I break the V with a sledge hammer. I suggest you do the same.

Throwing isnt that hard u just need a good arm and good lace placement. I do it by laying my middle finger on the first lace and continue laying my fingers but always skipping one space. Then I put my index finger not too far away from the end of the football, but as if there was another lace and my thumb on the other side of the football not using full stretch. Just enough so it doesn't hurt. Last you might want to throw it upward from your shoulder area for more distance in your throw.

1. always keep your elbow above your shoulder throughout the motion to avoid sidearming it (which is what this nutjob is doing)

2. you never should hold the ball near the middle unless you are a kid and have small hands. index finger should be near the back tip with only middle, ring, and pinky on the laces.

3. last finger to leave the ball is index, and exaggerate the pronation motion to give it the spiral.

Moving my hand towards the back of the ball and only having 2 fingers in the laces gives me WAY MORE CONTROL AND BETTER SPIRALS!
