  • They ought to create a show called "The Yankee," starring someone from the Deep South, who talks with a phony "northern" accent, doing stereoptyped obnoxious mannerisms/behaviors of that region--that would be so funny!

  • Laughable to see a hyper, thin Nick Adams, with his northern Jersey accent, play a southern rebel boy.

I noticed the same in early Elvis movies--northern-accented yankees playing streotyped slower, poor, ragtage southerners

  • 4:45 video: scenes from ABC television series The Rebel (1959-61); title role as Johnny Yuma played by Nick Adams (July 10, 1931 – February 7, 1968). Opening theme at 2:30 and closing theme at 4:04

  • You are only half right. The original ending theme was Johnny cash singing as well. The theme you hear at the end was changed for royalty purposes.

  • this was filmed in Malibu Canyon same area as M.A.S.H. - Planet of The Apes - and Dukes Of Hazard- ...the land was owned by Tentieth Century Fox-

  • When his roamin' days were over, did Johnny sell ice cream under the name "The Good Yuma Man"???

  • Isn't this the episode where Portal had a "watchsnake" (instead of a watchDOG)? If I remember it right, Portal patted the rattlesnake and he (the snake) went back into the hole in the wall where he had his digs.

  • @profharp

I´m just uploaded this part now.

  • Where is it?
