Excellent interview Mr. Kurt. If you are still alive you will be reward in heaven for standing through your trials. I am non jew but my heart wrenches whenever i watch holocaust or read anything of that respect. I just can never understand how "Nazi SS and SR can be so cruel to human beings like themselves. Hilter is dead and i still hate that son of a gun . Sure he is waiting on Fire to scorch him in hell

Last night I was amazed to see Kurt's video used as part of the new Echoes and Reflections program in LA. Kurt is now 95 years young and still lives in Maine. I am a filmmaker who's been working with Kurt and his brother, Henry Oertelt, to develop their life story into a feature film that will be used ultimately for educating students.
