Ellen White herself says that the Bible is the sole authority.  We Adventist believe no different. Although we believe she is inspired, all prophets are subject to the prophets which are founded on the scriptures. The bible alone is above all. Now that's coming from an Adventist. Please put this to rest already.

Let's take out the Bible and compare scripture. SDA teaches truth, but so many twist what they truly believe and when asked a question, look dumb founded and don't know how to give the verse/s to support their belief. There are profound SDAs who can answer all these questions with authority

Mrs. White was a nut. When that rock hit her head in elementary school and put her in a coma so that she was never able to return, seriously, I think it did something to her mind. The whole vegetarian phenom was indoctrinated in order to curb men's sexual appetite. She said that women who wear wigs will go crazy. It would be funny if it weren't for the fact that people blindly follow her plagiarism. I would be an Advenist if it wasn't for 1844 and ol' Ellen. Research Desmond Ford.

at 18:36-46 he states EGW is not the infallible interpretor of scripture then in 18:46/52 he states that he is the editor of the egw review....And the review contradicts his last statement. What kind of editor allows false staements to be published in his review...Dr.Martin is a brilliant debator and he gets the SDA to contradict himself in the first 20 minutes...

@doobersmanster That is a great point. In my limited experience, that seems to be the typical attitude- that is, publicly deny EGW as an inspired interpreter while privately (amongst themselves) proclaiming her as an inspired interpreter and prophetess. So they are either lying to us non-SDAs, or they believe those two opposing, contradicting ideas at the same time.
