  • Now it's 2 years later and cops are losing jobs left and right. These tents will soon be there homes to. Then their chests wont be stuck out so far.

  • @2010jaxon You've got that right, buddy! All the people who are protesting against this place are destined to become one of its residents.

  • why cant people bond together or something and buy up raw land for these people to live on? i used to be homeless yrs ago... slept on the streets and ate out of garbage cans... i know what its like... heck i got a half acre of land... come and pitch a tent on my land... i have no use for it... thats what people should do... not all homeless people are bad ya know...

  • Poor society..Africa are more developed than this.

You should judge a society on how they threat their weakest citizens.

  • first they tax you till your poor then they beat you steal what you have left extort the little money you are able to make out of you and when you are homeless on the streets trying to sleep in a tent they still dont stop and come bother you some more ever wonder why people hate the cops? here you go they are not human just a bunch of garbage that what they are

  • Well if you want the people to kill them self why dont you kill yourself first so that they can burie you,so that they take your job and you house. What if it was you have compassion the world is looking shame on you to say like this,it is inhuman maybe you are not human, reptilien.

  • I think it is very sad that we can send money overseas and ship our jobs overseas and then treat our own like this! Why are we not as a whole doing anything to solve this???

  • @manmanltw Why don't they just suicide like the fucking Japs who survived the Tsunami? Suicide would alleviate the burden to society and it's the most virtuous thing to do for other people in this world. Over 1000 Jap survivors had killed themselves so far after the Tsunami happened. Americans should learn from the Asians to commit kamakaze in order to preserve the betterment of the whole.

  • @stephentsang2000 to commit kamikaze? kamikaze means: special attack unit... what your most likely thinking about is called "Seppuku." just the fact that you confused the two makes it clear that you are full of shit

  • @nissanlover In case you are too stupid to understand what it means, then simply go kill some of the other tent residents before killing yourself. That's kamakaze, And it's for the betterment of the whole, same as what the fucking Japs did to themselves.

  • this guy is a retard, your not helping anything by going out filming this shit. why would you question the officers who just enforce the law? they didnt write it! theyre just there to enforce, and your trying to give THEM a guilt trip??

  • no 1 gives a fling fuck about his dad

  • scum human police going along with orders like that.

    pigs need hung.

  • ............That's my property. They need to find some open space that isn't mine. I pay a ton for SMUD, GET OUT OF MY SMUD!!!

Why would the cops be sympathetic? It would be worse to be kicked out by someone saying 'Oh I'm sorry!!!'

At the end of the day, they would have to leave.

  • "I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous...than standing armies.

If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency...banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless...

The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people"

    Thomas Jefferson

  • One more victim of the governator! Hasta la vista, baby, this is California, USA, the land of freedom and money. Dirty cash is on the command, now. Dammit homeless, keep off!

  • Hmmm..This was shot 2 years ago. Have things changed? I'm not hearing more about people camping out. Though I am sure it is still happening. Hope those still out there find a place.

  • A very concerning documentary...VJ, a very touching story about your father, condolences. It was an incredible analogy and insight into the human condition of separation in matters of such destitute. Is there a follow up? Where are these people now? Has any policy been passed?

  • this....

    is.....

    just....

    sad....

  • WOW... this country has enough money to fund WARS across the planet, send people on the moon and is basically one of the most powerful nations on the planet. YET they can't spend money to help the homeless? They wont even allow them sleep in their tents because its on somebody else's land? 1,000 dollars is NOTHING for the government but is everything to one person...

  • @ellul92 Homeless hippies need to help themselves. That's how America works. You work, and have, or be a bum and have nothing. Nobody owes these rats a thing. Fuck the homeless

  • @Moralvorstellung7 You moron. America used to do that. but now you need a License, I.D. insurance for everything, permits for everything under the sun. but the Government started looking at people as revenue not humans over the last 50 years. the city, state and government took your money and bought up land by the millions of acres that does nothing.

They simply pass a law and your a criminal overnight. you might try and get a clue you ID10T!

  • @Moralvorstellung7 how ignorant of you. these people were just as hardworking as you are or ever will be back in the day. But the way this country treats its people, and laws and bullshit economical structures, some people are less fortunate than others. I live to see the day the bank forcloses your house and kicks everyone out and you have no where to stay. hopefully you'll show some respect and understand things.

    Fuckwad

  • @Moralvorstellung7 The thing is, they WERE helping themselves: they were living in tents in an area where no one was doing anything and the land wasn't being used. Nobody owes them a thing? Fine. Then we (society) and our agents (the state) should just ignore them. But the state isn't just ignoring them--that would be one thing. The state is actively oppressing them. You think that we should forsake them, but you're confused about what forsaking someone actually entails.

  • The railroad NEEDS that land? BULLSHIT!

  • cops are fu*ked up

  • the world as we know it is doomed. too many people fighting for the dream. nobody cares about the next guy. greed greed greed. there are too many people and i think the earth needs a population adjustment . mother nature needs to kill half of us for the earth to recover. if im one of the ones who must go then so be it. there are millions and millions of people on earth with no quality of life who would be better off dead. im sorry but its true

  • California...the Libreral capitol of America...Tolerance to everyone but the homeless.

  • RIGHT ON - Good Job Camera Man

  • I would commit a felony and let the state feed me, clothe me, and you also get free medical and dental. I mean WTF, it's not like they have a six figure job to look forward to.

  • soo wrong.

seek justice homeless peeps=thru violence---rise up

    take it all back

  • Jail is a place a lot of homeless people i know go in the winter, but in Philly it gets cold, why folks cant stay in tents in a warm city, i dont understand, this is a free country, was? Not anymore!

  • i thaught they our police men and woman in the united states of america were suppose to protect and to serve ??? not serve papers so people are not going to be safe !!!!

  • what are these people suppost to do???? This world sucks!!!!!

  • Railroad cops are well within their right to shoot you dead, if you trespass on Railroad property let alone caught in any type of theft.

  • @DIJV79 Union Pacific has the right the evict..what grounds you sue Pacific?

  • @gbilios Anything wrongful death, injury, damaged property are a claim against the company.

  • whose land they living on? local authorities can evict them and then what?

  • whose land they living on?

  • This property belongs to the railroad, you have to vacate the property.

  • @DIJV79 yep..and they have to move every time they get a notice..

  • @gbilios I feel sad for these people, but thats private property their on it belongs to

Union Pacific they have nothing to do with the government what so ever, like the Railroad cop said its a liability issue if anything happens to one of those people Union Pacific is responsible and can be sued in court.

  • these police officers are pathetic

  • @wheresthebody they are doing their job.

  • @gbilios great, just great

  • God bless you!

  • Very disturbing & Sad.

  • Actually, that cat will end up as dinner for your fellow squatters.

  • So, is the cop saying that the tent people need to spend more time overflowing the shelters on a daily basis rather than ridding the world of their problem by hiding?? I think I might actually agree.... Id put pressure on facilities that are "meant" for crisis

  • get a job, fukin homeless.

  • this is sad. This is terrible. Fucking evil!

  • go back to Oklahoma, damn okies.

  • The government brain-wash people to fight a war and die for this country; However, there is no place on the ground for people to sleep without being harrassed by brain-wash cops. There are many homeless veterans that lives on the streets in America. They were in a war to defend America against enemies of this country. The true enemy system is right here in America. Too many vets are victims of this evil system. This message is from freddy2bfree@gmail.com

  • In the United States, it's called, "The Wildlands Project" or "Re-Wilding".

Right now, over 90% of the PNW is owned by the United States Government.

Don't be fooled by electric company ownership, it's all owned and controlled by the US Government.

It's the Local Agenda 21 implementation. The UN's ICLEI.

    The UN's UNESCO.

Look at poor South African Boers! Rockefeller-Monsanto.

Rockefeller=Rothschild=Monsanto=Georgia Guidestones=The Club of Rome & The Committee of 300=Global Governance by ELITES.

  • In the "Biosphere Reserves Worldwide book" there are 382 Worldwide.

In the US there are 47 Biosphere Reserves. There is No Treaty for This.

Read what Dr. Reed Nos says about the "conversion of over 50% into Wilderness" and Corrirors of "no humans" allowed.

In "Global Biodiversity Assessment" held in Nassau, on page 993, is the description of the "CORE Wilderness Areas".

Now, what you will find by doing a Search is the MAP of AGENDA 21.

The RED is No Human, the YELLOW is No Human.

  • Read these books and you will understand:

"Stafford Borough on Local Agenda 21"

    "Global Biodiversity Assessment"

    "The UN Agenda 21"

Henry Lamb on Agenda 21 here on youtube holds up all 3 books.

Also, you can go to the UN's website and use their Land-Grabbing-Land-Locking Interactive Mapping System.

The PNW has the most land being taken.

Welcome to the UN & US's Agenda 21 implementation.

  • More and more 'public lands' are being taken by the US Government every month, every year and Land-Locked, as per the United Nations Agenda 21.

Hiking and Camping in the PNW is becoming harder and harder as more land (public) is being put into "protected area" status.

After full implementation of UN Agenda 21, you won't be allowed in the "protected areas" "buffer zones" at all, only the "Elites" will be allowed, those in "The committee of 300" or "the Club of Rome" those type of "Elites".

  • I saw the Sacramento Tent City, Up Close and Personal.

The REASON for booting the homeless off of land in the US, is because of the Implementation of AGENDA 21, and they are on what's called, UN "Protected Areas" of "No Human" allowed.

  • Why are homeless people disrespected all the time. They keep getting evicted from everywhere well once everywhere is gone where do they go.Obama has avoided so many other issues including homelessness.Obama is doing the best he can Im sure but this issue has always been a problem,Change is a good thing

  • Why are homeless people disrespected all the time. They keep getting evicted from everywhere well once everywhere is gone where do they go.Obama has avoided so many other issues including homelessness.Obama is doing the best he can Im sure but this issue has always been a problem,Change is a good thing

  • John 3:16 "For god so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life".

    It's your choice.

  • Homeless people are pieces of shit. Me and my friends almost got mugged for walking past a tent city,we were taking a short cut home. There is nothing but drugs and fucking diseases in those tent citys. I'm glad the police kicked them out.

  • @Edenton5 serves you right for taking short cuts. No short cuts in life.

  • @Tr0llsNeverDie Yeah there is no need for drug addicts and pieces of shit either. We didn't even walk thogh their tent city we were 100 yards away and they came swarming like fucking bees.

  • @Edenton5 what would you do in their situation?

  • It's obvious to me that the police are the common enemy of the people, we all should demand that the police protect the constitution of the United States. if they violate our rights they should go to prison. The constitution is more important than the rich people that they protect, they do not protect the average citizen.

  • This is really sad to see people being treated so horribly.

These peope need a place to stay. The tents is all they have.

Sound's like heartless local government to me.

  • The only legal place for these people to go is to jail. So they can become the ultimate in cheap labor. This is the big plan at work and its TERRIFYING!!! Private, for profit, prisons in the U.S=more prisoners for more profit! Nobody that cares for these people can do much of anything for them because they dont command the VAST sums of money that you need to really effect policy in this country.

  • The heartless side of competitive materialism! Such materialists, in their fine clothes, walking on tidy streets, and in spotless offices, and cursing the poor, untidy, and losers, are walking tombs, with corpses for hearts. Unlike here, the disembodied soul has only a world that is an aspect of itself, which exists only as an emanation of its heart. If, however, the heart is a loveless corpse, the life of such a soul will automatically be one of strife in complete destitution.

  • Is that cop related to bush? Answer another question with something else without never answering the original question. What nerve to say did I answer your question. When he wanted to avoid explaining what would be done with the other 150 people. First cop was pretty nice and civil. But problem is they use the excuse "just following orders" without having any compassion or going against what they know is wrong and fighting for whats right. If I was a cop I'd be doing stuff to help.

  • "When did we see You hungry, or thirsty or sick and did not come to Your help?" And Jesus will answer them, "Whatever you neglected to do unto one of these least of these, you neglected to do unto Me!"

  • Oh go figure, Union Pacific property. Railroad men... No heart except fortheir own selfish interests. No wonder Jesse James hated them so much!

  • its funny how we can make a place for bad people like jails and prison but there no placies for homeless people. so do a homeless person have to do a crime just to have a roof over they heads lol

  • Our founding fathers said this would happen if bankers run our money printing. This is un American. The Homested Act was supposed to keep people in their homes. But bankers (theives) have taken way the Homsted Act. I think only 2 states alow Homesteding any more. Bankers have taken it out for their greed. Homested Act made the banks work with people to keep them in their homes. Yet our government brings more prople in our this country. No jobs no homes and poverty. Capitalism is not a gov,

  • The private malitia of the rich.

  • Our founding fathers never said anything about slimy, no good, dirty bums. I'm sure if they saw these rotten bums, they would puke.

  • @savemyplaylist and you are a american guy?

    do your history lessons!!!

    jackson

    kennedy

and several more didnt agree this fed law thing

  • Capitalism is a bigger form of pimps and hos and we're getting pimped

  • Comment removed

  • hey savemyplaylist I bet u r still living with your folks and been a parasit takin money from dad but you wouldnt last out in the streets u fuckin stupid hater, its ur own people out there u idiot

  • Shut up, you dirty hippie. I live on my own and make good money. What I hate seeing are lazy bums take up space.

  • did they take ur place or ur money u bastard? I make good money too and I have my own home, nobody is askin u for ur help so u better fuck off

  • when your good money becomes worthless i hope there is no space for you to take up

  • nice try, I invest in commodities. Hopefully the bull doze these losers into the ocean.

  • remember there but by the grace of god go i

  • @mariofful

hahha, nice try again. I don't believe in fairy tails.

  • ha ha nice try you call living in a dillusional secular world. not beleiving in fairy tails one day someone will tell you the emperor has no clothes till then merry christmas

  • You are a SCUMBAG!!!!!

  • @EdmundSquid

At least I'm not a dirty bum. Bunch of no good slackers.

  • no you are worse

  • @savemyplaylist

your the bum....wait till the shit storm comes to your door...

  • @craigalan100

I ain't afraid of shit hawks one bit, i don't even think they're real

  • what happens when millions more end up unemployed and state and city dont have the tax money to operate....i think this will lead to very horrific civil war in the end

  • That cop is an idiot with a badge and a gun.

How can he give an opinion and not be able to explain why he feels that way?

    That isn't thinking, that's programing.

One day he won't be able to explain why he is beating you with his baton either.

    Fucking drone.

  • very sad.. camp on my property in pecos and van horn , Texas

  • It appears that they have no ability to empathize with people who were once like them, driving cars and watching their favorite shows when they come home from work, God forbid foreclosure happen to any one of us like it did to them because you too will have no place to lay your head and from the point of losing your home you live from that day forward being hunted down and served by those you used to wave to in the coffee shop.

Criminalizing poverty, misfortune and homelessness is what it is

  • very well written thank you !

  • I think the best bet.. is to camp on a boat. get a boat regestered fishing license.

    and sleep in the boat.

  • Good idea, a boat (& good misquito netting) a passive water purifier, fishing licence, and a good rod for fishing, maybe the police will let you lay your head down with some piece of mind

  • damn almost brought tears to my eyes hearing about the guy and his cat.

  • You can send your own lawful notice back with a "Claim of Right". A "claim of right" from the perspective of the jurisdiction of the United States is also known as a Lawful Excuse.

For how to do one to claim and reserve your unalienable rights at common law, check out "Notice of Understanding and Intent and Claim of Right".

Stand as a free man and a sovereign and claim your rights at common law, that can be upheld in a "court of record" as provided to the People.

  • I don't know about that man ? but it's funny ( not really ) how the government lets over a 1000 people still live in the fema trailers 4 years latter after katrina ( not 6 months ) rent free. but doesn't give a shit about these people. oh yeah that's right this wasn't a hurricane and these people are mostly white isn't that weird. it's like our U.S. government doesn't care about white people ?

  • soontobeofficer,Go and read the declaration of human rights you fascist grunting snorting pig!You could only ever be a Police Officers arsehole you uneducated piece of shit.

  • Furthermore, that cop is not realizing that if he doesn't make the laws, who does? if he bases the rules off the constitution, then he is breaking a law. is there a law in the constitution that prohibits people from living in a tent if they cant do anything else?

  • the cop who said maybe at 5: 57 is retarded. how can he say that their not gonna keep on doing what their doing. he sais he doesnt even know why he doesnt see it happening. that cop is a disgrace. dumb ass. that pisses me off so bad.

  • a cop is not suppose to get involved in any kind of legal issue he/she is only suppose to do his/her job and alot of cops don't show any emotions on the job. that being said I feel for these people that have nowhere to go !

  • this is very sad, it's sad that people live like robots, those cops know that these people have no where to go & that these aren't normal times. Durring these hard times we need to help each other & honestly if these homeless prepared well enough to have tents before they lost their homes than let them stay & get on their feet.

  • we paid the fucking taxes for the public land and can't even use it. i say america comes together and designates areas that can be used for tent cities because more and more will be popping up. WE PAID THE FUCKING TAXES YOU SCUMBAG CORRUPT GOVERNMENT AND BANKERS!!!!!!! JUST LIKE THE INDIANS, TAKE EVERYTHING FROM THEM AND GIVE THEM A CAGE. THAT'S WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN TO AMERICA, F U SCUMBAGS THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING!!!!!!!

  • IT IS THE LAW, THEY MUST LEAVE!

  • WTF.... i cried over this. i think that the Local Churches should open their doors to these people, thats what theyre there FOR!!! They can let some people sleep in the sanctuary or something!!

  • this kind of thing makes me angry. I know exactly what they are going through. I went through it. I often go out and camp to stimulate living like that, just incase I have to someday It is tough to find a place to set up your tent without getting kicked out, security guards coming around saying "you cant camp here". It sucks. But life goes on. Power in numbers. If enough people did this, they couldn''t do much about it..

  • I've wondered what the "fema" detention centers were about. I'd read they were for disidents, or people who are considered a threat. Now I'm beginning think these "fema" centers are for people who are no longer productive due to a collapsed economy.

  • that sounds true enough. but if enough people are homeless and together, it comes to a point where nobody can really do anything about it. over powering in numbers is a great thing. but assuming the homeless dont have the firepower the military has, that is in debate.

  • A lil civil disobedience in this case, in my opinion, sounds like a good way to get your point across. I mean as of right now its not costing the city to have you camped out there nor is it costing the land owner, so , if they wanna keep moving you let them move you in to the jails. I f they had to house and feed all 150 aprox people I bet thier outlook on the situation might change. I know thats not a very inviting idea but when some else has to foot the bill they might now want to "help out".

  • Much pain and misery out there today. A huge amount of sadness and anger. Many broken hearts and spirits.

  • this breaks my heart :( i cried watching this. God bless those people and i hope they will be okay.

  • Val,

I give you credit for talking to those police officers. It's too bad the last officer you spoke to didn't understand what you were talking about. I did.

    Kap

  • Val I have no idea but you might look into what they did during the great depression. There were migrants from all over the country coming into Calif at that time looking for work. Hovervilles or Okie camps were everywhere along that route from the mid west to California. Of course this was not the mentally ill or addicted population we have to deal with now.

  • Well good thing CA has Sanctuary cities and program for Illegalizes

  • Val, What about the State parks?? Maybe its a stupid question but doesnt the state land belong to the citizens? Squat in the State and Fedral Parks Make it a national issue. Just a thought, I know people here in the midwest that are very near the same situation, its appalling that the railroads wont let them sleep under there power lines.

  • Yes, State parks are public land BUT they are under the jurisdiction of local authorities. "The people" have lost their original rights to the ground beneath their feet and the sky above their eyes. VJ

  • @valjonfarris state parks are public land not settlement...

  • The State parks do belong to its citizens, but if their parks are anything like they are over here then there are probably laws stating that parks must be cleared by a certain time. However, laws can always be ignored. (Prohibition.)

  • Yes, plenty of public land and no political will (or heart) to secure and use it.

  • Yes, it is upsetting, and so much that I intend on not changing it back to how it was, but making true to the heart of who you and I are now. Val Jon Farris

  • I'm Val Jon Farris, founder of iCare America and I do hold respect in my heart as much as I can. There are times it is very hard but I keep trying.

  • that women cat may also be sent to a animal shelter and be put to sleep...

  • they probably will send these homeless people in those secret FEMA camps all across America

  • wow...just wow...live and let live fuck face cops and politicians

  • do you have squatters rights in the U.S.? with all the repossessions couldn't people squat in the gardens of the repo homes?I think I would let the police take me away to jail the convicts are better cared for

  • We are working on squatters rights and other ways to secure public land. We need everyone's help by emailing Obama or others who may be able to help with legislation. VJ

  • Well then asshole pig cop you need to take a more active role for once. The claim of "just following orders" is the same thing the nazis tried to pull.

  • thanks for all that you do and your coverage of this. the woman and her cat is sad.

the cops seem largely unmoved by the situation beyond it being an annoyance. good questions posed; maybe they'll think about them when things get progressively worse in the american dream.

  • You are welcome. I am deeply moved by the humanity of these people and I WILL keep doing this work around the country! Val Jon Farris

  • By the way.. Those cops are the ones who would shoot you or your family and say they were "just following orders" instead of standing up and saying "this is wrong".

  • One day we will wake up homeless on the continent that our fathers conquered....

If people listened to the founding fathers this kind of mess would not be going on.

This is sad.. Being poor is illegal now too I guess.. In the land of the "free".

  • Being poor has been illegal for a long time, being poor and colored is even more illegal, the only real difference now is that a good chunk of what used to be the middle class and the housed poor are now living on the streets with no idea how to survive there.

  • I have known quite a few cops on a personal basis.

Their hearts are stone and most are downright criminally corrupt.

One of the great fallacies in our society is that police protect the people. This is not their prime function.

Police are there to collect revenue on behalf of the statists.

In order to rob people of their money for inane infractions, one can NOT have empathy for others. This is the reason most cops are such surly unsympathetic assholes as you described.

  • Unbelievable. Look at these copsthey dont look human. 100k so the dogs have a place to crap and nothing for the people. This is sick. This is proof that were all a bunch of landless surfs waiting to be rounded up and culled. I am through with all governments.

  • Kicked them out of their homes;

Kicked them out of their tents!

    ~ The Elite Bailout ~

  • But not kicked out of their hearts! These people are resilient and WILL succeed with our assistance. Val Jon Farris

  • This is a third world country in California. This is so sad.

  • 300 night watch men need free rent

  • This is a sad commentary on what is happening to us. Charity begins at home. It should start here. Where is the legal place they can go and why isn't someone helping them go there?

  • Yoj sre so right. And there are some stepping forward to help. We are working on legal ways. If you know attroneys please let us know. Val Jon Farris

  • So sad it has come to this.....

  • Sad and motivating. I intend on bringing these issues to light and forming a movement of care. Val Jon Farris

  • See what happens when you believev "Don't worry everything is gonna be alright because I have rights" When you don't know you "right" (constitution, bill of rights, etc) You eventually get them taken away, it is almost human nature to dominate and take over. This is just another example. PEOPLE YOU COUNTRY HAS BEEN USURPED, go to your city counsel meetings, write your rep/senator/... I would say president but he is controlled by... lets just say these people didn't like JFK

  • I know that the company that owns that property doesn't want the liability of all those people living there, but all we are doing is pushing and pushing and pushing until they aren't into our problems anymore. It was probably because it was lowering the value of the absolutely worthless foreclosed houses near there. If America can no longer provide services to it's people, we need to do some MAJOR reforming in our Health care and Emergency Response Systems.

  • you are correct, major reform and we are the ones to make it happen! I say we link up via the net and form a coalition for care. Val Jon Farris

  • Great vid. Great work.

  • Let's get you Safe Ground instead of Tased. The homeless people need a place to live without fear or worry of being arrested or exploited.

  • DON'T TASE'ME BRO

  • Tent City, Sacramento

  • Where was this recorded?

  • Sacramento
