sometimes i don't understand bass behavior when i fish in clear and shallow water, i use crank bait. when bass sees the bait he follows it but never strikes. but blue gills strikes right away. Why do you think bass has this behavior?
Hey, Im 14 and going to a bass tournement for my bass fishing team at school, ive been trying to learn as much as i can, and i just want to know what types of rods to use, and what type of reels..
It all is about the lures you like to fish the most. If you are a senko fisherman you need a 7 foot rod with a fast tip. I would look for a rod in the $80 to $120 range, you get what you pay for. G-loomis is one of the best but can be spendy. If money is an issue try a berkly cherry wood rod but get one that is moderitly stiff. You will have more sensitivity with a rod like that and you will land more fish because of that! if you fish a crank bait or spinner bait you will need med fast tip 6' 6"
hi i have a question. I have a lake where most of the water is 2 feet deep, but there is a spring where the water goes to about 8 feets for this whole part of the lake. There is no cover or weeds down there at all. Its mostly all mud. Should i fish down there? will there be fish even if no cover? my lake is stained.
i totally agree, my buddies usually say i am overreacting and it doesnt matter, i believe fishing is just like hunting, be as subtle was possible.
Anyhow, i am from central california and we have clear clear deep lakes. Examples are Millerton lake and PineFlat, can you put up a video on bait selection and possible bass hehavior on those types of lake.
5 stars from one avid fisherman to another. Great tip. I sure wish I could get it done more often, but with the kids on the boat, that's next to impossible. I'm usually a lot more quiet while fishing alone. See ya on the Tube!
More videos roger!

100 in a day, crikey they must be hungry. That would make my arm ache.
