you'd think if the kids want thiers a GOOD mom which she's not would carry a pen, marker or something to mark names. Stickers if you cant mark it. I have no kids and have more common sense when dealing with a group of children. BAD MOTHER

no. she did not. there is nothing ironic about the kids being called 'the hershey kisses' and then going to the hershey factory.... thing. It MAY ne coincidental, but not. at. all. Ironic.
I've worked for Hershey Chocolate Co. and that is soooo not how they make candy! It's more like people in a 108º room, crawling under machines, in dirt and grease, trying to clean up a wall of caramel coming off of a roller.
lol yea i worked there that summer (the kid with the long hair standing behind the milk dud) we gave those noise makers out to kids all summer, they are SO annoying!!!

I just wanted to see what the hype was about, it's definitely not for me. You can thumbs down my comments all you want, but it's not going to change the fact that if you want to learn something, it's all going to be subjective to who you are. Watching other peoples lives doesn't teach you anything about your own.
Well obviously you're not gonna learn anything about yourself from watching other people. The show is for entertaininment purposes and people watch it just to see little kids growing up and the adventures the family has. people may enjoy watching the show with 17 kids but i dont, but im not going to go on their video and bash the family or people watching it.
This isn't much better than the one with 17 kids. You're still basically using the family as the entertainment factor of a freak show. Think about it really, if you were watching this just to see the kids grow up and the adventures the family has, you'd instead use the time to involve yourself more with your own family. Be it your own kids or your nieces and/or nephews. It just seems like a waste of time to me.
Because i give something a chance before i judge it. Also, with the name... i'm always wondering where this huge wash of 10 million hits responsible for the fame of backstreet boys, jonas brothers, avril etc. comes from... evidently they're all hidden in the ocean that is the internet.
@headlightsunderwater Actually you're wrong in assuming you cannot learn from others. Just because many do not learn from others, doesn't mean you cannot do it! I learned several tricks from Kate over the years. Things my own mother is too stupid to teach me. So before assuming, please realize that not everyone is as smart and wonderful as YOU and does everything on their own SO darn perfectly. I pray for you to understand this someday!
@JolSummerville In the same way i find beauty and morality in something as simple as watching the trash being picked up in the morning or the tide coming in, i don't doubt for a second that somebody can find value in just about anything including this show. It's a natural human trait to want to belong to a group of people that share similar ideas, and it's a respected thing to defend any group you're part of. they are going to move to North Carolina because NC is close to Figure 8 Films which is a place where people who film The Jon and Kate Plus 8 show. So they are going to move to NC. I am going to move there soon. i am excited.
i found out that i live less than a hour away from jon and kate. i dont want them to move cause then i won't recognize the places they go like sight and sound, dutch wonderland, hershey park. they came to my school one time but i didnt get to go!
I love this show. I think they're all so adorable, but I think Alexis is the cutest. Mady has problems though...her attitude problem is prettty bad. Imagine when she is a teenager...yikes!
Im a huge fan of the show. I knew they lived in PA but i didnt realize they are only 2 hours away from where i live!I wish everyone would lay off of kate. I know a ton of people like her and have no kids to blame the stress on... Every woman has a inner control freak in her.. its just most of us arent on T.V. for everyone to critisize. You dont see many couples working together and actually making an effort to spend time and teach the kids like jon and kate do.

well every parent would break down at some points if he/she has 8 kids, and 6 of them are of the same age! plus, some of the kids, especially the girls can get really crazy sometimes. i know they are just kids, but parents are human too. gosh, kate must be so tiring everyday. wait till those kids grow up and see what their mom has done for them, they will all know to love her better and more.
I can't believe how negative some of the comments are! I think certain people have an idea of what Jon and Kate's family should be -- maybe because it's on tv. But that's the beauty of this show is that they are not fake! If anything Kate is not a bitch she's just real...Yes, sometimes her actions can be harsh but she's not perfect she's Kate. Are you guys kidding me? Kate is a wonderful mom. She tries so hard to give them experiences and things even if she's got ten kids. So she "bosses" her children around. She's a mom. I think she's a strong person raising 8 kids no doubt. But I do think she crosses a line when she explodes as she did at Disney and w/the markers because the kids were getting dirty. She is very abusive of her husband, emotionally and verbally. She hits Jon and she says be a man about it. Yet if Jon did that to her she'd throw him out. Kate is a strong person but it has taken a toll on her family,her husband and her friends just to have things her way. I find her to be a very unattractive person

Could not agree more. Kate is a drill sargeant and her kids are going to hate her and be rebels when they get older. While order and rules are necessary in any household especially one with 8 kids I think Kate is rude and she has no respect for anyone and she never admitts her mistakes. As for Mady-good gosh I don't want to know what she is going to be like in her teens. Poor Cara and the sextuplets I wish I could raise them!

jeez people. if we gave you twins and sextuplets under the age of 10 that you needed to keep fed, safe, loved, and unspoiled, im sure you wouldnt do a better
job than jon and kate. theyre all alive, healthy, happy most of the time [what kid is happy ALL the time] and if the kids do something wrong, they gently, but firmly get reprimanded. what is wrong with that?!

well every parent would break down at some points if he/she has 8 kids, and 6 of them are of the same age! plus, some of the kids, especially the girls can get really crazy sometimes. i know they are just kids, but parents are human too. gosh, kate must be so tiring everyday. wait till those kids grow up and see what their mom has done for them, they will all know to love her better and more.

I can't believe how negative some of the comments are! I think certain people have an idea of what Jon and Kate's family should be -- maybe because it's on tv. But that's the beauty of this show is that they are not fake! If anything Kate is not a bitch she's just real...Yes, sometimes her actions can be harsh but she's not perfect she's Kate. I know everyone is entitled to their opinion... and mine is that we should not judge them because we are not experiencing exactly what they experience.

Are you guys kidding me? Kate is a wonderful mom. She tries so hard to give them experiences and things even if she's got ten kids. So she "bosses" her children around. She's a mom. That's what she's supposed to do so they won't turn out to be jerky adults. What? Did you guys grow up with Mary Poppins mother figures or something? It's really unbelievable that anybody would criticize her when they themselves don't understand raising that many children all at once.

I think she's a strong person raising 8 kids no doubt. But I do think she crosses a line when she explodes as she did at Disney and w/the markers because the kids were getting dirty. She is very abusive of her husband, emotionally and verbally. She hits Jon and she says be a man about it. Yet if Jon did that to her she'd throw him out. Kate is a strong person but it has taken a toll on her family,her husband and her friends just to have things her way. I find her to be a very unattractive person

A woman who berates and bosses her husband(in front of his children!)is lacking something in herself.She then tries in the piece at the end to justify this stunningly damaging and selfish behaviour by trying(I have 8 kids to look after,blah,blah)to make her husband appear wrong and stupid.Methinks she would rather have little robots she could program to eat without getting dirty;play without making a mess,etc.Agood mother would get the twin(Mady)to counselling This child gives me chills

Could not agree more. Kate is a drill sargeant and her kids are going to hate her and be rebels when they get older. While order and rules are necessary in any household especially one with 8 kids I think Kate is rude and she has no respect for anyone and she never admitts her mistakes. As for Mady-good gosh I don't want to know what she is going to be like in her teens. Poor Cara and the sextuplets I wish I could raise them!

it's called stress. she has 8 kids. and if she just let them do whatever they want, there would be chaos. she is a great mother. a normal one at that. she is not mean to her husband. she may boss him around. jon does the same thing. they're normal parents. at least they're real. and not those goody goody parents. now that's scary.
